January - the children settled back into routine after the Christmas holidays.
Activities included arts and crafts, baking, outdoor exploration, toddler groups, storytelling, role play, puzzles, duplo building blocks. Supporting areas of development.
February- more arts and crafts. The children asked if they could make cards and crowns for Valentine’s Day. They also made hand prints with paint encouraging creativity.
Outdoor play in the garden and local play parks supporting physical development and gross motor skills.
After nearly 12 years we sadly said goodbye to our lovely dog. We talked about our memories of our dog and that it’s ok to feel sad.
Overall Jan and feb have been filled with learning, creativity and development in all areas. Children are making progress socially, emotionally and physically.
Next up March…hoping for sunshine 🌞 🧸
