Our Stirling Mini Music Academy is currently FULL! Thank you so much for all your support. We love how much our young students love their music classes!
So now to the exciting news... We're launching a new Saturday afternoon class in Stirling at 12:15pm with a FREE TASTER CLASS on Saturday 10th of February.

We have availability for Mini Music Academy in Falkirk on Saturday mornings / afternoons and Wednesday afternoons. Message to book a free taster class.

At our Mini Music Academy, we use instruments such as guitars, keyboards, synthesisers, samplers, electronic drums kits and ukuleles as well as fun music theory worksheets and games. Our weekly sessions are designed to introduce mini musicians to making, playing, and reading music and will help students develop skills in rhythm, pitch and creativity. Students will have the opportunity to try out all of the instruments and take part in fun play-based activities to keep them engaged and boost confidence and social skills. Our curriculum is designed to allow for an easy transition to our Music Workshops which are suitable for 6+ Classes cost £34.85 per month if you wish to sign up after the free trial class. Students are dropped at class and collected at the end, classes last 45 minutes.

At our Mini Music Academy classes we use professional instruments to give young people a unique opportunity to learn music in a creative and fun environment.

Students will pick up skills in keyboard/piano, ukulele, drums, guitar, synthesiser, singing, music theory, music production and more!

Our weekly 45 minute classes cost just £34.85 per month and we offer a free taster class so the student can come and try the class before signing up.

Mini Music Academy is suitable for ages 4 - 7 and runs at both our Falkirk and Stirling Music Schools.

✨ Meet Caroline ✨

Caroline launched Mini Music Academy at BHMA Stirling in October 2021, with the Falkirk branch following close behind. Over the past year and a half, over 150 youngsters have enjoyed regular classes, and many have graduated on to Music Workshops at Brian Hurren Music Academy.

After graduating from the University of the West of Scotland with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Commercial Music, Caroline was quickly offered a job as Manager of The Scottish Music Industry Association.

Over seven years at the SMIA, Caroline and the team developed initiatives to strengthen and champion the Scottish music industry and its output. She worked with the organisation’s board of directors to develop Scotland’s national music prize, The SAY Award. Developed to celebrate Scottish music and the cultural impact and contribution of outstanding Scottish albums, the SAY Award is now entering its tenth year and has awarded over £260,000 in prize money to Scottish artists.

In 2016 Caroline moved on from the SMIA and spent a year working in international PR before stepping back into the music industry with an Artist Management position at No Half Measures. While at No Half Measures Caroline had a hands-on role working daily with bands including Wet Wet Wet and Hue and Cry.

Throughout her career Caroline has also worked as a freelance music promoter, PR & marketing consultant and music and lifestyle journalist.

Caroline now runs Mini Music Academy as well as her own digital marketing & social media company Gallus Communications.
