At Digital Action Norfolk, education is at the heart of what we do.

Our Alternative Provision gives young people the opportunity to learn through real, hands-on experiences with IT and technology — helping them discover new skills, build confidence and recognise what they are capable of.
From taking apart and rebuilding computers to coding, networking, digital problem-solving, recycling and refurbishment, our students learn skills they can use in the real world. 🔧💻♻️

We believe education doesn’t have to look the same for everyone. Sometimes a practical, supportive environment can unlock a young person’s interest in learning and give them a completely new direction.

How many lithium-ion batteries do you think you have at home? 📱💻🎮

They're inside lots of the gadgets we use every day. The good news? They're usually very safe. The bad news? If they're thrown in the bin, they can be crushed and start serious fires.

So when it's time to get rid of an old device, please don't put it in your household rubbish or recycling bin.

♻️ Take it to a recycling centre and separate the battery from the device where possible, or use the recycling locator linked in the comments below.

He arrived on time every day, was eager to learn, enthusiastic and willing to take on every task given to him.

When you've finished with your phone, a sustainable next step would be to sell it so others can enjoy it. The more they are used, the less environmental impact it has.

For tech that's past its best and can't be repaired and refurbished, we promise with our partner to:

Recover and rescue as many components as possible
Recycle whatever materials they can
Responsibly dispose of any waste

From this Wednesday onwards, we will be closed for donation drop-offs.
We will be back and ready to accept your kind donations again from 15th May ♻️
