The children have been exploring the wonderful story ‘Whatever Next!’🚀🌙

The children created their own story maps to help retell the adventure, showing a great understanding of the journey to the moon. They then used a variety of props to re-create the story, bringing it to life with lots of imagination and teamwork.

We also got creative with printing techniques to design our own rockets, and the children had lots of fun making their very own rockets too! 🎨🚀

It’s been lovely to see their creativity and storytelling skills shine throughout these activities! ✨

The children had a wonderful day celebrating World Book Day on Thursday. We made crafts from our favourite stories and shared them with friends during group time.

💃 Weekly ‘Melody Bear’ dance lessons

These fun, engaging sessions support children’s communication, confidence and listening skills- all at no extra cost to families!

We’ve had a wonderful start to the half term at Mather Street Pre-School ❄️

We have explored signs of winter outdoors, learning new words like ice, frost, melt and freeze. This has helped build the children’s confidence to talk about what they can see and feel, as well as stengthening understanding of the world. The children have also developed their early writing skills and creativity through snowmen paintings, winter themed playdough and mark making in the snow.

We are very excited to see where the children’s curiosity and learning takes us next this half term!

Mrs Clarke has been a valued member of our team for a decade and currently leads Mather Street setting as Head of Setting.
She is a key part of the companies senior leadership team, and her dedication, leadership, and commitment continues to make a real difference every day.
