The Nook The Nook for Therapeutic Creativity supports young people aged 7+ and young adults who need a calm, gentle space to create, learn, and grow.

We offer therapeutic art & creative writing sessions from Monday to Friday. Small groups & one-to-ones I'm Ali mum to four amazing young people, foster carer, teacher and therapeutic parenting coach. I started Flourish to support all those amazing parents, carers and adopters struggling to parent children and young people with childhood developmental trauma. On my own journey I soon realised there

is a no one-size-fits-all to parenting or teaching and have spent the last few decades discovering my own parenting and teaching pathway. It's been an incredible journey, I have met some amazing people, read some mind-blowing books and qualified as a therapeutic coach and writing for well-being facilitator. Flourish is just me sharing with you some of the things I've learnt on my way and hoping to support you and your young people to flourish too! I do also offer workshops and 1-1 bespoke Finding Your Path programmes.

We are back with our very popular Teen Creative Social. A time to relax, enjoy some creative fun and make new friends. We have added another evening, Thursday, so there are a few more spaces available. Sessions run every week during term time and cost £12.50 each.

Joshua never disappoints me with his art!
He attended an afternoon session at The Nook today and I just love the blue image.
As a child he used to draw the titanic and other famous ships, so I knew he could draw, but I never expected him to be so creative with other things.
