Our next Ofqual regulated First Aid for Mental Health course is on 19th April. This is the half-day level 1 First Aid for Mental Health Awareness course, delivered using a virtual classroom and is followed by a short exam.

Each year approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health condition. At least 1 in 6 employees experience common mental health problems in the workplace. Research has shown that work is the biggest cause of stress which can stop people performing at their best.

Our next accredited First Aid for Youth Mental Health is on 13th April with the assessments taking place on 14th April.
We are running this course as a virtual classroom with just 8 participants. It is ideal for anyone who has children (under 18's) or works with them.

I took time out in January to become a qualified First Aid for Mental Health Instructor and am now a First Aider for Mental Health and can now offer accredited qualifications at levels 1-3

Mental health is about how we think, feel, and behave. One in four people in the UK will have a mental health problem at some point.

When people have good mental health, they are more likely to fulfil their potential. That means they enjoy work and cope easily with work situations. They have a happy family life and good social relationships.

Organisations are required by law to promote and protect the mental well-being of their workforce - I wonder how many organisations really do this?
