PERFORMING ARTS TECHNICIAN NEEDED

This exciting vacancy has been created to support our highly successful Performing Arts faculty. A vital role with the opening of our brand new 450 seat theatre.

The successful candidate will be working closely with the Drama, Music and Dance departments to support them day to day as well as taking a key role in performances and productions.

This role would suit anyone with a background or interest in theatre, performance and concerts.

Dear all ex Year 13 students who took their A-Levels/Level 3 qualifications in Summer 2021

Certificates are now available to be collected from Telfer Reception on Gipsy Lane.

I was delighted to be invited to Her Majesty's Lord Lieutenant's Awards ceremony to recognise the fantastic achievement of one of our Post-16 students, Charlie Moules.

The Lord Lieutenant is the Queen's representative in Devon and each year they select the best cadets from across the County to be the Lord Lieutenant's cadets for the year.

To win the award once is a huge honour, however, I am delighted to say that Charlie has now won the honour twice in three years which is very special.

As you can see Charlie is a member of Exmouth Sea Cadets and so our huge congratulations to them and their team.

Perhaps this might inspire you to get involved through Exmouth Sea Cadets, Exmouth RAF Cadets, Royal Marine Cadets based at Lympstone, Guides or Scouts?

Well done to Charlie who is pictured receiving his award with his brother.

Dear Year 11 students,

Following my earlier email regarding the Post 16 Opening Evening, Wednesday 6th October, please see below some logistical information.

Group entrance will occur every 15 minutes with designated slots for tutor groups. If you are unable to make your time slot, please arrive after 5:30pm and email: [email protected].

>Please only arrive with one accompanying adult where possible.
>Wearing a face mask is required for the duration of opening evening
>Disabled park only is available on the school site.

On Thursday 30th of September the whole school are getting involved with a 24hour tech time out (no social media or phone use). 🚫📱

It is child cancer awareness month and many staff, families and students have fallen victim to this cruel disease so let’s do something positive and raise some vital funds!

Each year group is competing against each other to raise the most money, so come on Post 16 let’s show the younger years how it’s done ✌🏻💰

Mrs Wright and Miss Burch ready to take on the national 3 peaks challenge! ⛰⛰⛰ (you can’t see it but Ben Nevis is behind us 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿)

Amazing workshop today with Dr Emily McGrath and fourth year Exeter medical student Amy. Our future medics are working hard on their personal statements before prepping for their entrance exams over the summer.

Tonight we look forward to seeing last years year 13 students for their reunion prom 💃🏼 🕺🏽

With the recent spike in numbers locally, we would really appreciate if all those attending could take a lateral flow test before this evening. We would be grateful if you could take a screen shot of a negative result to show us on arrival. We want to ensure we keep everyone as safe as possible!
