In MORE news!
We know.. news can be dull and depressing, but when BSL is becoming more and more accessible in so many different ways, we need to share it with you all 🩷
For the next 6 weeks, there's a new wildlife trail in Exeter and working in partnership with Deaf Academy, they've made it accessible! 😍
You can scan QR codes along the trail, and it'll load short form videos demonstrating how to sign each animal in British Sign Language (BSL).
We're so excited for this!
If you head down today make sure you post your photos below 👇

Any parents/grandparents, check out this Mini First Aid course. This is designed to teach first aid for use on children/babies if the need arises.
Liz isn't often in Exmouth, so if you're keen to do a short course, book onto this class.
Huge recommendation for her and Mini First Aid.

Fab news for Exmouth parents ❤️
Spread the word if you know someone who can help!
We’re launching a Sling Library in Exmouth
We’re really excited to be setting up a community sling library, offering families access to safe, supportive babywearing and expert guidance.
We’ve already started building a small team and are now looking for one more Sling Consultant and one more Peer Supporter to join us. This will initially be in a volunteer capacity.
* Sling Consultant (fully funded training)
* Peer Supporter (fully funded training)
We’re looking for people who:
- Have personal experience using slings/carriers
- Are warm, supportive and non-judgemental
- Are organised and able to stay on top of communication and admin
– Can commit to being involved regularly
– Are happy to be part of a small, collaborative team
For the consultant role in particular, I'm looking for someone who would like to take an active role in helping me grow and lead the sling library as it develops.
This is a lovely opportunity to be part of something from the very beginning, with training fully funded and ongoing support provided.
If you’re interested (or would like to know more), please send me a message or email [email protected]
