Read the reviews on Facebook and Google to get a good understanding from real parents about the classes, don't just take my word for it! Not every class is for everyone, just because you know people doing it. It should be something you AND baby enjoy.

If my class sounds like a bit of you, then sign up now before all the spaces are gone! I've a few spaces now as lots have returned to work, but I expect it might be tricky to join later on again. Most people join me until they return to work (and a fair few stay on after that! ❤️ ( Big love to you guys)

Oh and if you're wondering if your baby is too little and you'll leave it until later, then don't necessarily. I've had lots join me at 3months old and some from even earlier. The class is for you to learn signs too, so it is never too early to start, even if baby can't sign yet. 🥰

💚So....what's Signing Babies and Toddlers, for anyone new??

🧡Well, it is pretty flipping cool. Babies can communicate before they speak using their hands. For example, they can tell you they're full, they want more, want milk/food/water etc. They can tell you about the animals, vehicles, and the world around them. And they can understand you too, more than you probably know!

🩵So that's what I teach, you and baby signs, so that you can use them together to communicate.

💜But signing also has loads of other benefits. It encourages early speech, helps understanding and learning. Aaand.... as we use only BSL (British Sign Language) signs, well you'll both be learning vocab from an incredible language too! Even if your child has started talking, they'll still benefit.

💛Signing with your baby/toddler is not just a gimmick but really quite awesome!!

Each week uses a different theme of signs and then we reinforce learning of those key signs (and many more) through songs, activities and props. Fun for adults too.

👶🍼Babies can actually use their hands to communicate with you prior to speaking. It is just awesome. Using signs alongside English also encourages the development of speech. Doubly awesome. (Dubious English myself there granted! 😂)

We know.. news can be dull and depressing, but when BSL is becoming more and more accessible in so many different ways, we need to share it with you all 🩷

For the next 6 weeks, there's a new wildlife trail in Exeter and working in partnership with Deaf Academy, they've made it accessible! 😍

You can scan QR codes along the trail, and it'll load short form videos demonstrating how to sign each animal in British Sign Language (BSL).

We're so excited for this!
