Beach School will start for Oak Class on Monday 21st September and for Beech Class on Wednesday 16th September.

Changes due to availably of transport. Please send children in wearing appropriate clothing.

Beach School will start again next week. We are so excited to go to Charlie’s Beach School Exmouth again this year.
Oak Class will go again this term on Monday afternoons.
Beech Class will go on Wednesdays afternoons.
Please ensure children are wearing appropriate clothing.

We are looking forward to welcoming the children back on Monday. We hope you have all had a wonderful summer 😀.

We have now migrated over to a new system for registration and lunches. For the time-being, the children will order their lunches in class during morning registration. A parent app where you will be able to order lunches and pay for trips will soon be up and running. More information to come in the next few weeks. Many thanks for your support with this.

🌱 Growing Greatness Together 🌱

What a wonderful example of our community coming together to help our school grow and flourish!

We were delighted to welcome members of our community yesterday who generously volunteered their time, energy and skills to help improve our school. From clearing and tidying to painting and refreshing our spaces, so much was achieved — and the difference is fantastic! The children will love what we have done.

Our Growing Greatness vision is all about creating a community where everyone plays their part, supports one another and helps our children and school to thrive. Days like this bring that vision to life. 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who gave their time and worked so hard. We are incredibly grateful for your support and proud of what we can achieve when we come together.

🌊 Beach Wheelchair Story Spotlight 💙

There's nothing quite like seeing the joy that our Beach Wheelchair Service can bring.

Recently, 10-year-old Amelia-Rose visited the beach using one of our beach wheelchairs, and she kindly shared her experience with us.

💬 A quick Q&A with Amelia-Rose...

🐚 What do you love doing at the beach?
"Looking for shells, going in the water in the wheelchair and building sandcastles."

💙 Why did you want to use a beach wheelchair?
"To join my class friends on the beach."

😊 How did it make you feel?
"Very happy to be able to get onto the beach using the Batman chair."

⭐ What was your favourite part of the day?
"Accessing the beach, using the Batman chair and looking for shells with my class friends."

🌊 Was there anything you were able to do that you couldn't do before?
"Go onto the sand and down to the sea."

❤️ What would you say to another child thinking about using one of our beach wheelchairs?
"I would say to them that I find it really fun and it makes me happy that I can use it on the beach."

Stories like Amelia-Rose's remind us exactly why this service is so important. Everyone deserves the opportunity to enjoy the beach, make memories with friends and experience the sea without barriers.
