So it is with a mixture of joy and sadness that I announce after 18 years, I have stopped working as an OFSTED Registered Childminder. 😄🥲
During that time I have cared for 79 children, aged from 4 months - 12 years old……so probably changed about 3 thousand nappies! 😂🤷🏻♀️
It has been an amazing career and on the whole, I have loved it.
Watching a lot of the children change from babies, into toddlers, then into little people and onto teenagers and adults has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. ❤️
My new role is still working with children but at someone else’s place….….finally I will have my home back again and also have more time for myself. 😊
Going through photos & Childminding things at home, has triggered a lot of wonderful memories. 🥰
So thanks to the brilliant kids I have had in my care and their wonderful families, here’s to a new chapter! 🎉
Also, thanks to my amazing, inspirational childminder colleagues that I have worked with through the years. Couldn’t have don’t it without you all and have made some awesome life long friends. ❤️
