Baby T has had his first week at Rosebuds and he’s settled in amazingly! 💜 Super cute, and I can’t wait for lots more cuddles and adventures with him! 🥰

We’ve had such a fun day today visiting the park, lots of giggles and singing on the swings, taking Roxy for a walk, making playdough, practising our cutting skills, dancing, potion making, lots of stories and more!

We also had a lovely candlelit lunch now the days are unfortunately starting to feel a little cooler and dimmer. I’m a summer girl however I do like how autumn makes you slow down and light more candles, also love finding all the natural treasures.

I’ve had two weeks off work enjoying some lovely family time, and I haven’t quite got back into the swing of sharing our days again! 😂 So here’s a little look at today…

Mondays are usually my day off, however today I got to share it with R! 🥰 I was so happy to see her and spend the day together, especially now she doesn’t come to Rosebuds every week.

So today was officially an R&R treat day! 💜🌹

We had a lovely walk with a café and treat stop, a trip to the park and skate park, a wander around the pet shop, ice cream, board games, snuggles on the sofa watching Zog and, of course, lots and lots of chatting about history! 😂

Such a lovely day catching up and spending some one-to-one time together. 🥰💜

Sorry I’ve been a little quiet on here lately! I’m currently enjoying a two-week holiday from Rosebuds and making the most of some lovely family time with my little girl. 🥰

But I couldn’t not share my four Rosebuds leavers in their beautiful purple gowns! 💜🎓

Three of you I’ve had the absolute pleasure of watching grow for years, sharing my home, our days and so many little adventures together. 🥹 And one of you joined the Rosebuds family for the past year, alongside being home educated by your wonderful family — and somehow manages to teach me a new fact nearly every time she comes! 😂💜

I’m going to miss not only these four little faces, but their lovely families too. I’m so glad you chose Rosebuds to be part of your children’s journeys. We’ve worked so well together over the years and I feel very lucky to have shared such a special part of their childhood with you. 🌹

Good luck to my little Rosebuds heading off to school, and to my little Rosebud continuing her home-school adventure. I’m going to miss you all so much! 🥹💜

Another last day this time for R she’s going to be really missed!
Today we picked blackberries, hunted for sea glass on the harbour enjoyed two parks and then spent the afternoon playing and dressing up back at Rosebuds. Another two children’s last days tomorrow :(

Goodbyes really are the hardest part of this job. 😢

Every child that walks through my door becomes part of the family, so it’s never easy when it’s time for them to move on after so many years together. It doesn’t seem like five minutes ago that you first came to Rosebuds, and now you’re ready for big school!

Thank you for all the amazing laughs, conversations, your cheeky jokes, adventures and memories. Thank you for always making me smile. Watching your little personality grow has been such a privilege, and I feel so lucky that I got to be part of your story.

Everyone in my house will miss you R, my daughter and even my partner, he will miss you running upstairs into his office to say hi.

Always remember to be YOU, be WILD, and be FREE 💜

🌻 All about the sunflowers today! 🌻

We enjoyed picking beautiful sunflowers before getting creative with some sunflower painting. 🎨

We also had lots of fun singing together in the Dart Farm tent, joining in with the Hokey Cokey and playing Bear Likes Honey.

This afternoon, the children had a brilliant time cooling off in the paddling pool. ☀️

One of my favourite moments was snack time, when my daughter read a story to the children. 🥰 I absolutely love having her home with me over the holidays and seeing her enjoy being part of our days at Rosebuds. 💜🌹

A lovely morning at the Donkey Sanctuary with Little Eagles Montessori. 🫏☀️

My favourite photo has to be the one where two of my Rosebuds children are playing donkeys! One has put the red donkey collar on as that colour is for boy donkeys and is pretending to be a donkey while the other is carefully brushing him. 😂 love watching them play and seeing the ideas they come up with. When we got home we had to re the wonky donkey books 🫏 💜🌹

Some wonderful role play was happening this afternoon at Rosebuds.

It started off as a car garage before the children asked me to bring the kitchen outside so they could turn it into a food shop!

“I’ll be the chef!”
“I’ll take the orders!”
“I’ll make the drinks!”

There was some amazing mark making and early writing as they took orders, wrote shopping lists and served their customers. I was treated to lots of coffees too! 😋

It was also so lovely to see the older children naturally including the younger children in their play, getting down to their level, helping them, encouraging them and making sure everyone had a role. Moments like these are so special and show just how much children learn from one another through mixed-age play. 💜
