🌟 PROUD OF OUR OFSTED RESULT!

In May 2026, our Toddlers setting at The Old Ticket Office was inspected by Ofsted and achieved the EXPECTED STANDARD across EVERY area inspected, with safeguarding standards met. 💛👏

So what does Expected Standard actually mean?

Ofsted defines it as a setting “fulfilling the expected standard of education and/or care” and following the statutory, non-statutory and professional standards expected of them.

And we’re incredibly proud of what the inspector saw in practice. 🥰

✨ “Children thrive and make progress”
✨ Children build a “strong sense of belonging”
✨ Families receive a “warm welcome from nurturing staff”
✨ Children with SEND are supported well
✨ Children are confident and ready to learn
✨ Parents feel listened to and supported
✨ Leaders have high standards, a clear vision for improvement and a “passion for keeping children safe”
✨ “Children feel safe and secure in this setting”

Most importantly, the report says that all children make progress from their starting points. 💛

We couldn't be prouder of our Toddlers team. This result reflects the care, hard work and dedication they give our Little Ducklings every single day.

🎓💛 Good Luck to Our Pre-School Leavers! 💛🎓

As the summer comes to an end, it’s time for us to say a very special goodbye to our wonderful pre-schoolers as they head off on their next big adventure… BIG SCHOOL! 🏫

It has been such a privilege to be part of their early years. We’ve watched them grow in confidence, make friendships, learn new things, overcome challenges and become the amazing little people they are today.

We hope we have taught them lots along the way — but they have certainly taught us plenty too!

To all of our children starting school, we hope you walk through those doors feeling brave, excited and incredibly proud of yourselves. Keep being curious, keep asking questions, keep being kind and, most importantly, keep being YOU.

And to all of their families, thank you for trusting us with your most precious little people and allowing us to be part of such an important chapter in their lives. We know that first day can be just as emotional for the grown-ups!

Go and shine, little Ducklings! We are going to miss you and we are SO proud of you.
