The Preschool stick insects have had a lovely time visiting their family for Christmas. They performed a Nativity for their sisters and were amazing at playing the part of two of the three wise men. The next evening, Twiglet grew her wings! On New Yearā€™s Eve, Sticky (one of their older sisters) went into labour and started laying eggs! On the 2nd of January Stick (another of their sisters) also began laying eggs, and on the 3rd of January we counted no less than 21 eggs and they are still coming! Twiggy and Twiglet are very excited to be getting the keys to their new, bigger house on Tuesday and are very much looking forward to moving back to preschool in it. They wish you all a very happy new year.

Thank you so much to everyone who braved the weather to come out to support this wonderful village event! Sean & Matt and the team at Berrybrook did us proud again! All the pink ladies at Exminster Preschool pull out all the stops to serve refreshments and walk along side the engines. There is so much work that goes on behind the event that goes unseen but is really appreciated! But to see all the childrenā€™s faces light up when they see Santa dancing on a steam engine makes it all worthwhile! Thank you to Exminster community what a magical night!

What an amazing day we had yesterday!
We would like to thank Sean and Matt and the team at Berrybrook for inviting us to be part of their Open day event. The Preschool Christmas Bazaar was a great success and Father Christmas managed to spare some time from his busy schedule to chat to all the children! We would like to thank all the business who donated prizes: Exeter Chiefs, Totnes Rare breeds centre, Swans Nest, Wildlife & Dinosaur Park, Cofton, Devon Railway Centre, Exminster Garage, Exminster Post Office, Pizza A Legna, Wonderland Play, Volvo Garage, Clarks Cycles, Powderham Castle, Exminster Hair & Beauty & Berrybrook Motors. Thank you to everyone who came and supported our amazing charity Preschool!

We had so much fun yesterday at Mud Ventures! The children were workmen in the building site, sold ice cold drinks at the market stall, made perfume and potions in the kitchen, practised pouring at the water station, panned for treasure, searched for pirates from the ship and planted flowers in the garden area. The weather was just right and after a picnic lunch we went to see the animals. What a great summer trip!
