Carle Class last week had been exploring weetabix and hoops with farm animals and talking about what animals we can find. We created tractors with the paint chalks which the children have loved doing, we talked about the colours and singing ‘Old Macdonald had a farm’ lots!

Monday the 15th June is the start of men's mental health week and in order to bring attention to the issues that face men (and all people in society) we are going to be raising awareness for these issues through a strong staff body, assemblies and a compassionate school ethos. Look out for our staff wearing green ribbons on this week (the international sign for men's mental health) and please engage in this as well by wearing your own green ribbons and engaging in positive discourse surrounding the importance of mental health awareness.

We would like to support Daisy in raising funds for a wonderful cause. She has already reached her initial target, which is a fantastic achievement, but her aim is to raise £700, the cost needed to create a wig for a child in need.
Any additional support would be greatly appreciated as she continues towards this goal. Well done, Daisy, on your amazing effort so far! https://fundraise.littleprincesses.org.uk/fundraising/daisys-hair-donation2026

What a wonderful start to our final term in Reception! This week, the children have enjoyed a range of exciting learning experiences inspired by the story All Aboard the Bobo Road.
As part of our themed learning, we explored Burkina Faso, learning about its location in Africa, its climate and aspects of daily life. The children enjoyed finding Burkina Faso on a map and creating their own colourful maps of Africa.
During independent learning, our safari theme has sparked lots of enthusiasm, with children taking part in safari eye-spy challenges, animal writing activities and creating beautiful watercolour sunset paintings. It has been a fantastic week of learning, creativity and exploration!

We are delighted to celebrate a fantastic period of footballing success for Ethan, Tobias and Isaac, who have represented their respective teams with exceptional skill, determination and sportsmanship in tournaments across the UK and Europe.
Competing against strong opposition from around the country and overseas, the boys delivered a series of impressive performances, contributing goals, assists and excellent teamwork. Their efforts helped their teams achieve remarkable success, including tournament victories, podium finishes and trophy-winning performances. 🏆
Playing against teams from countries including the Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark, they demonstrated resilience, confidence and a positive attitude throughout, embracing every challenge and opportunity to develop their skills. These experiences have not only strengthened them as footballers but have also created lasting memories and valuable life experiences.
👏 Congratulations to Ethan, Tobias and Isaac on their outstanding achievements. We look forward to following their sporting journeys and celebrating many more successes in the future!
