Our focus is your welfare and we’re here to help you have a fun and enjoyable time in your halls! There’s a number of different people in our team who will be available to support you when you need it:
Student Mentors - our Mentors are current students who have experience of student life and will be in halls to support you with accessing wellbeing services, hold social events, offer drop-ins for you to ask any questions, chat about how you are feeling and ensure you feel listened to. You can find your Mentors drop-in times via the Mentors tab on our webpage and then finding you accommodation. You can drop-in to ask any questions you may have or just to have a chat with a friendly face. Residence Life Coordinators are our members of staff who are there to support your mentors and to help you too, if you prefer to speak to a member of staff. Their hours will be 3:00pm – 11:00pm, Monday to Friday, and you can contact them by emailing [email protected]. They are available to set up virtual appointments with students who want to talk about any concerns they have. Residence Life Support Officers - our officers are also students and monitor the online Instant Chat available on our webpage in the evenings and will be available from 6.00pm – 9:00pm every day, if you have any questions about anything that’s important to you.
