My love affair with long cakes continues 🌸 I’m so excited to have a few more of these in the calendar.
If you’re fancying something a little different from a classic tiered wedding cake, this style could be perfect for you!
Long cakes are usually made up of 2 or 3 separate cakes so you can still have multiple flavours and have equal amounts of all of them.
They can be decorated/ styled however you like, I love to adorn mine with squiggles, fruits and of course lots of edible flowers to match your colour palette & vibe.
You could also go simple & elegant topping the cake with 100s of intricately placed raspberries, hello vogue! (I’d love to create one of these). Or vintage heaven with Lambeth piping everywhere!
They’re also so easy to portion, you could even let your guests do it themselves whilst the cake stays on display, no whisking the tiered cake away to the kitchen never to be seen again.
