If you enjoy helping children flourish and would like to be part of a welcoming school community, we'd love to hear from you.

With the hot weather, we’re taking extra steps to keep children safe, cool and comfortable in school.
✅ Pupils can wear PE kit all week
✅ Extra water breaks – please send a labelled water bottle daily
✅ More time in shaded areas at lunch
✅ Fans and classroom adjustments to keep rooms cool
✅ PE and outdoor activities adapted for the heat
Please help by ensuring your child brings a hat, has suncream applied before school, and wears suitable clothing.

Year 4 have had a fantastic day on their residential! 🎉 They enjoyed a wide range of activities, tucked into some lovely food, and had a great night’s sleep. 😊 They’re up and ready to make even more wonderful memories today🌟

Magpies have been busy exploring photography as part of their art learning. It has been wonderful to see their creativity shine!
They’ve been learning how to use cameras, think carefully about what to capture, and experiment with different angles, lighting, and perspectives. They loved it!

🌟 Year 6 Residential Update 🌟
All the children have had a fantastic night’s sleep and woke up ready for another jam-packed day of fun! 😄
Today’s adventure… a bike ride in the rain! ☔️🚲 And yes, they are absolutely loving it – making the most of every moment and creating brilliant memories together.
We’re now all packed up and ready to head home after an amazing residential. We can’t wait to see you all soon! 🏡✨

🌄 Residential Update 🌄
Today started off brilliantly with a delicious cooked breakfast to fuel the day, followed by an exciting session on the high ropes! 🍳💪
All the children have shown fantastic ambition and determination—it's been wonderful to see them stepping out of their comfort zones and encouraging one another. 👏✨
Next up, we’re looking forward to some grass sledging and tackling the climbing wall—let the adventure continue! 🛷🧗‍♂️

🌟 Year 6 Residential Update 🌟
Yesterday, on their first day, Year 6 had a fantastic start! From a fun (and chilly!) gorge scramble 🌊 to a tasty pasta dinner and apple crumble 🍝🍎, followed by a rainy moorland walk with amazing views 🌧️🌄.
After showers and chats, it was lights out—everyone is having a great time! 😊

🌿 Magpies Visit the Eden Project 🌿
Our Magpies had a fantastic trip to the Eden Project, exploring the biomes and taking part in a fun “Crazy Chef” challenge 🍰
They represented our school beautifully with excellent behaviour and respect – we are so proud! 💫
