Children with other speech and language difficulties can also experience more general anxiety related to their talking. Getting out into nature can have many benefits to children and parents alike. It can also be a great way to support children's speech and language development. Going on a listening walk can help develop their attention and listening skills and their early sound awareness skills. Getting out and about can also be a great way to introduce new vocabulary. What new words could you introduce to your little one when out and about? Remember, repetition is key when introducing new words.
