Our student-led Clothes Swap was a fantastic success!
Organised by students, the event encouraged our school community to give pre-loved clothing a new home, helping to promote sustainability while reducing waste. It was wonderful to see so many students getting involved and supporting the initiative.
A huge well done to everyone who helped organise and take part in the event. Your efforts have shown how small actions can make a big difference for both our community and the environment.

Pollinator Patch in full bloom!
It's wonderful to see this area thriving and supporting local wildlife. Other areas across the school site are also being left unmown to encourage biodiversity and create valuable habitats for pollinators and other species.
A huge thank you to Dr Adams and the students in Ecology Club for their hard work and commitment to this fantastic initiative. Your efforts are making a real difference to our school environment.

Recently, our Year 10 Photography students took part in a photoshoot focused on exploring key compositional elements, including frame within a frame, depth of field, leading lines, and more.
The session gave students the opportunity to put their learning into practice, experiment with a variety of photographic techniques, and develop their creative eye. It was fantastic to see their enthusiasm and confidence grow as they captured some impressive images.

Our Gratitude Tree is slowly growing! 🌳🍂
A huge thank you to everyone who has taken a mindful moment last week and contributed to our gratitude tag experiment. It's wonderful to see so many reflections and messages of appreciation being added.
A few students mentioned they weren't sure where to find the tree, you'll find it between the Humanities and Maths departments. Feel free to stop by, take a moment to reflect, and add your own gratitude tag.
Let's keep growing our tree, one thankful thought at a time! 💛

Student Voice in Action!
Recently our student representatives met with Mr Greenhalgh and Mr Littler to discuss the actions being taken following the student survey and to begin preparations for the next Student Voice Week.
It was fantastic to see students sharing ideas, representing their peers, and helping to shape the future of our school community. We couldn't be more proud of the leadership, commitment, and maturity they continue to demonstrate.

Our Year 9 students recently attended an inspiring assembly introducing them to the world of Higher Education. 🎓
The session explored the opportunities available after secondary school, the benefits of university and further study, and how students can begin thinking about their future aspirations. It was a fantastic opportunity to encourage ambition, raise awareness of different pathways, and help our students start planning for their next steps.
