Futures by KPR We provide supported accommodation for 16 to 18 year old care leavers KPR Care Services ltd is owned and managed by Rebecca Chambers and Kevin Read.

We offer a small personal placement and will only accommodate a maximum of 3 young people at any one time. This allows staff to build strong positive relationships, identifying their needs and making sure young people have the best possible chance of achieving their potential. Our level of support is tailored around the needs of young people and can be adjusted based on progression and circumstances. We are proud that most of the Young people accommodated with us have settled well, sustained a long term placement and have eventually moved on in a planned way when the time is appropriate. We have a high success rate of finding employment or courses for young people that may be suitable. We also work closely with young people to help reduce their alcohol and drug intake as well as any negative behaviour they may have, if required. We have experience of dealing with YP’s that have:
Drug and alcohol problems
Been victims of Child sexual exploitation
Been involved in criminal activity
Various mental health issues
Suicidal ideation and thoughts
Anger issues
Victims of abuse
Victims of domestic abuse, both physical and emotional

We are recruiting for part time and full time support staff to work in a challenging yet rewarding role, supporting our young people aged 16 to 18 with various complex needs. You will work as part of a team helping to engage the young people to meet their needs and achieve positive outcomes.

You will receive a full and in depth 1:1 induction with mandatory training and will be expected to complete specialist training courses as part of your ongoing development.
We also fund a level 3 diploma in health and social care, and encourage you to complete this during your employment with us, if you do not hold this qualification already.

Our main weekday and weekend daytime hours of work are 8am to 6pm or 8am to 2pm and 2pm to 6pm

Sometimes someone there is all you need ..

"Today was a Difficult Day," said Pooh.

There was a pause.

"Do you want to talk about it?" asked Piglet.

"No," said Pooh after a bit. "No, I don't think I do."

"That's okay," said Piglet, and he came and sat beside his friend.

"What are you doing?" asked Pooh.

"Nothing, really," said Piglet. "Only, I know what Difficult Days are like. I quite often don't feel like talking about it on my Difficult Days either.

"But goodness," continued Piglet, "Difficult Days are so much easier when you know you've got someone there for you. And I'll always be here for you, Pooh."

And as Pooh sat there, working through in his head his Difficult Day, while the solid, reliable Piglet sat next to him quietly, swinging his little legs...he thought that his best friend had never been more right.

I can’t even describe in words what this amazing opportunity has done to help some of our young people. In all honesty, it hasn’t worked out for some, as they have found this wasn’t the right path for them, however the warmth, nurturing nature, patience and belief that this lady has had for all of the young people that we have placed in her hands has Been above and beyond. I can’t thank this scheme enough for the opportunity’s it has given some and the nurturing hand that this lovely lady plays in their future

We currently have a day time vacancy of 30 + and bank staff vacancies.

The day time hours are yet to be confirmed, however these will most likely be 5 days of 12pm to 6pm and possibly some weekend cover.

The bank staff we will require for weekday, nights and weekend to cover holiday, sickness and on occasion 1:1 work.
