Yesterday was extra special 💛

I took my nephew along to one of my very own Baby Sensory classes and, for the first time in a long time, I got to experience it from the other side of the mats.

As class leaders, we’re always focused on creating magical moments, busy setting up activities, and making sure every family has a wonderful experience. Yesterday, I got to slow down and see it through a parent’s eyes again!

Watching my nephew’s face light up with excitement, seeing him explore, and engage with the sensory activities, reinforced why these classes are just so special 🫶🏻

Thank you to all the parents who trust us with these special moments each week, it’s a pleasure being part of it ✨

☀️ SUMMER HOLIDAY SESSIONS 2026 ARE COMING! ☀️

We’re so excited to announce our Summer Holiday Sessions at Eli House, Exeter!

📅 Bookings open to everyone on 1 July.

Spaces will be limited as we’re only running on the 6 dates shown in the timetable, so be sure to book early to avoid disappointment.

🌵 Week 1 (5 & 6 August) – Yee-Ha!
Saddle up for a wild western adventure full of sensory fun and exciting discoveries.

🎉 Week 2 (12 & 13 August) – Summer Extravaganza
A celebration of sunshine, colour, music and magical summer memories.

🌊Week 3 (19 & 20 August) – Under the Sea Adventure
Our babies will become Baby Sailors while our toddlers explore the delights of the Blue Lagoon.

💚 Baby Sensory is suitable for babies from birth to 13 months
💙 Toddler Sense is suitable for children aged 1–5 years

⭐ Important booking information ⭐

• As always, older siblings (over 13 months) cannot attend Baby Sensory sessions.

• If you have a baby and a toddler under 5, you are welcome to attend Toddler Sense with both children. Your baby does not need their own space booking.

• Toddler Sense is only suitable for children aged 5 and under.

• All children aged 1–5 attending Toddler Sense will need a booked space. If you’re booking on siblings, contact me for the discount code to reduce the cost down to the price of 1.

• If you have children over the age of 5, please speak to me before booking. Unfortunately, we don’t have the space to safely accommodate everyone bringing additional older children along with them, so you may need to make alternative arrangements if you would like to join us for these sessions. Thank you in advance for your understanding 🫶🏻

Swaddling is a technique that has been used for many centuries and in recent years it has become a popular settling technique in the Netherlands and some parts of the USA and UK. In the UK, about 19% of babies are swaddled in the first 4 weeks of life.

To practise safe swaddling you can buy specially made swaddle wraps, or swaddle your baby loosely in a lightweight blanket. You should also stop swaddling your baby at around 3 months, before they begin to roll over.
