On the Hill is a land-based learning centre near Exeter, South Devon. We offer residential programmes for young people as well as training adults in outdoor and environmental education.

May Family Camp was a real joy - it’s hard work for the team (especially Robert with all the cuddles and skipping with children in the field) but we love seeing your children return year after year, meeting new families and watching the days unfold together in community. We’ve just said goodbye to a class of 15 year olds who have spent 7 days on the farm in an immersive transformative residential led by Jo & Paddy and the team. Tool mending, building a farm shop, wood-splitting, gardening, cooking, music, and more, ending with a sleep out under the stars. It’s almost time for Family Camp! The weather looks like it’s going to be beautiful, the circle-garden is looking gorgeous, and we can’t wait to welcome these lovely families back to the farm. A few more places still available for last-minute or fair-weather campers; fully catered and inclusive.
Late lambs are arriving daily here at the farm. There are still some places left at Family Camp for next week - Tuesday 26th May - Saturday 30th.

And we're underway - an April wedding at the farm! What a gorgeous thing it is to host a beautiful event such as this. We're fully booked for weekend events this year, and taking bookings for next season...plenty of week-day bookings available for daytime & evening if you've got a gathering in mind, or a work's team away day. ☀️
