This week’s Headteacher blog
This week, Mr Bishop visits Clyst Heath, where he catches up with children from Art Squad and finds out about an exciting residential to St Ives planned for later in the year.
He then heads over to Monkerton to meet Mrs Toze, where music is very much on the agenda. The children showcase their talents with their bell-ringing skills, performing Eye of the Tiger - a brilliant example of the creativity and confidence that comes from having opportunities to explore the arts.
Across Cornerstone Academy Trust, children have the opportunity to experience a wide range of creative activities, from art and music to drama and performance. These experiences are about much more than learning a new skill - they encourage creativity, teamwork, confidence and, most importantly, enjoyment.
