🦕🌿 A Roarsome Dinosaur Adventure! 🌿🦖

Our Bumblebees had a fantastic time exploring a magical dinosaur world specially created just for them! After noticing the children's growing fascination with dinosaurs during garden time, we transformed their interest into an exciting imaginative play experience.

The children loved bringing the dinosaurs to life—helping them munch on leaves, splash through the waterfall, and explore their prehistoric surroundings. 🦖💦🍃

Activities like this encourage imagination, creativity, and storytelling while supporting communication and language development as the children chatted, shared ideas, and created their own dinosaur adventures together.

Following children's interests is one of the best ways to inspire meaningful learning through play! 💛

🌊🐠 Splish, splash... it's National Marine Week! 💙

Our babies had a wonderful time exploring an ocean-themed tuff tray filled with marine animals, squishy slime, and bubbles. They loved feeling the different textures, discovering sea creatures, and engaging their senses through hands-on play. 🫧✨

Sensory experiences like these help to develop curiosity, communication, and fine motor skills while encouraging little ones to explore the world around them in a fun and engaging way. 🌊🐚

Massive congratulations to Tara and Sephi, who have achieved their Early Years Teacher Status. They have both worked really hard over the past year to gain this Level 6 qualification, and we are proud to have them as members of our Puffins Family!

A fab new space in the city designed for families with young children!

💡🌈 Lighting Up Learning! 🌈💡

Our children have been captivated by exploring our light-up blocks, creating colourful towers, imaginative structures and glowing patterns! ✨

As they experimented with stacking, balancing and arranging the illuminated blocks, they were developing problem-solving skills, spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination. The changing colours sparked conversations, encouraged creativity and inspired plenty of collaborative play as the children shared ideas and worked together.

Simple resources can create magical learning experiences, and our light-up blocks certainly brightened everyone's day! 💛

🌻🚌 A wonderful morning adventure! 🐑🌳

Our children had a fantastic trip to Darts Farm today! We travelled together on the bus, making the journey part of the adventure, before enjoying lots of fun in the play park.

We also loved meeting some of the friendly animals and finished our visit by picking our very own beautiful sunflowers to take home. 🌻

Trips like these provide so many opportunities for children to explore the world around them, build confidence, develop social skills and create special memories with their friends. What a lovely morning filled with smiles, laughter and learning! 💛

Community coming together to support local families.
We're proud to have raised £2,000 for Baby Bank Network Exeter at our recent Summer Fetes. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported us, we couldn't have done it without you! 💙🤝

You may have seen that we shared a recent post from Puffins who raised an amazing £2000 at their summer Fete, and here we are with the Lord Mayor receiving this incredible donation in the form of a giant cheque.

A huge THANK YOU to all of the children, families, staff, and local supporters who went along and supported the Fete.

It looked like everyone had an amazing time - they even had the chance to take part in Splat the Teacher 😂

This money will make a huge difference to the local families that we support - and help us maintain a much needed service in Exeter and across Devon.
