Between March and May 2026, I had the opportunity to attend STAR Exeter as a student. This period was an extremely enriching and thoroughly positive experience for me, one that I thoroughly enjoyed. As an older student in particular, I was able to noticeably improve my English skills and make valuable progress.

A key reason for this was the warm welcome I received right from the start. My younger classmates were open and friendly, so I quickly settled in and felt very much at home. The organisation and support provided by the school were also excellent. The teachers impressed me with their dedication and high level of professional expertise.

Another highlight was my host family, who welcomed me with great warmth. They played a key role in making my time in Exeter unforgettable.

Exeter itself is a beautiful city with a special charm, which I will certainly visit again. I can wholeheartedly and warmly recommend STAR Exeter.

Yesterday our students visited a local independent living centre for a cream tea with the residents. They shared stories, laughed together and practised their English in the most natural way possible. 🍰🗣️
