The view from our school today - Class 3 were delighted to see the unique British Railways Standard Class 8 steam locomotive, 71000 "Duke of Gloucester"
They all waved to the train 🚂

Our youngest pupils are enjoying being outside and making the most of the September sunshine 🌞 this week they have been busy making caterpillars 🐛 out of conkers and leaves 🍂, making autumnal potions and playing in our construction area.

Pupils from Class 1 enjoyed a sunny afternoon at Forest School today. They picked apples 🍎 made fritters, helped to light the bonfire and toasted marshmallows. A great afternoon had by all.

Year 4 & 5 pupils in Class 1 spent the afternoon creating Tudor portraits. We are so impressed with the effort and detail, wonderful to see the children so engaged in their learning.

Welcome back everyone, we have had a wonderful first day Cockwood Primary School. Our new EYFS pupils all settled well and in assembly we learnt the sign language to accompany 'Three Little Birds' by Bob Marley, who is our Musician of the Month.
