We're so excited to have teamed up with Torridge Trees this year to offer beautiful locally grown Nordmann firs for sale.

These make the perfect Christmas tree, with impressive foliage and a gorgeous scent, plus they are low needle dropping so last the whole festive season.

Plus Ladysmith CPTT receives £5 for every tree sold 🙌 making it a great way to get a lovely Christmas tree while boosting our fundraising.

We're aiming to sell 100 trees and raise £500. Can you help us get there? 🙏

Prices start at £20, with home delivery for £5 within a 5 mile radius of school. Free collection available at the Juniors on Friday 9th and Friday 16th December.

We're so excited to welcome everybody to our fabulous fireworks event at the Junior school tomorrow, Friday 4th November! 🙌

Here's all the essential event info...

➡️ This event is SOLD OUT and we won't be selling tickets at the gates, so please only come if you already have your ticket. Have these ready to show at the gates 🙏

➡️ Gates open at 5.15pm, with the fireworks display at 7pm.

➡️ Enter the site via the main Juniors entrance from Ladysmith Road or the side entrance on Pretoria Road.

➡️ Please bring cash as only a few stalls will have card readers.

➡️ We'd also love if you can bring reusable cups with you, so we can use less disposable cups.

This is an all-weather event! We will go ahead if it's wet, unless we're advised it's unsafe to do so. However, the forecast is looking OK at the moment so fingers crossed for a dry evening🤞

There's plenty to keep the whole family entertained before our fabulous fireworks display:

🍻 Enjoy drinks in the bar marquee and dance to our wonderful live band

🥘 Fill up at our food stalls, including hot dogs, pizza, soup, Middle Eastern food, sweet treats, hot chocolate and more...

Colour Run done 🙌🏃‍♀️🎉

We're buzzing after the run and Summer Fair after school today. It was brilliant to see so many smiling faces - we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did 😁

We'll update next week on fundraising totals, and keep an eye out for more pictures on here and in the newsletter.

In the meantime, thank you to everyone who supported this fantastic event.

It takes a huge amount of work to do something like this, so many thanks also to our CPTT reps, who organised our stalls, and all of our volunteers, who helped to set up, run the stalls and pack away. We absolutely couldn't do this without your help!

Finally, special thanks to Vic Matthews and Charlotte Lewis, who organised the Colour Run, and to Tarin Adams, who worked hard behind the scenes organising just about everything else!

Hopefully we get to do it all over again next year 😜

Not long to go now...! Preparations are in full swing to welcome everyone for our Colour Run and Summer Fair at 3.30pm 😁

We're busy busy busy getting the final bits ready to set up during the day and can't wait to see everyone when gates open at 3.30pm.

🌈 Wristbands are needed if you're in the run. Check school bags as they were sent home today! If you ordered a ticket more recently, then pick up your wristband at the start point tomorrow.

😎 It's going to be HOT! We've added a water refill station in the hall and other drinks are available at the bar. (The ice cream van could be popular!)

🏃‍♀️ It's very much a run for fun so take it easy in the heat - there's plenty of time to do a lap or two of the course.

This is a fun run with a difference, guaranteed to put a smile on your face 😁

As you make your way around the course, volunteers will be placed at strategic points along the route to shower you with vibrant paint powder. By the time you cross the finish line, you will be looking very colourful indeed!

This takes place on our Junior field alongside our Summer Fair, which has plenty to keep the whole family entertained with stalls, bouncy castle, face-painting, a chance to meet our goats and more! Plus food and treats stalls and a bar.

There was a yummy selection of goodies, kindly donated by parents and carers in Nursery, Reception and Year 4 🍰

We also had some delicious cordials and other cold drinks, perfect for a sunny afternoon 😎

Ladysmith Goat Fund

Can you help raise funds for our new goats? 🤩

Brussel and Sprout, our lovely Ladysmith goats, are settling in well to their new home! 🐐🐐

We've set up a Just Giving page to help us raise some additional funds for equipment so that the children can make the most of caring for the goats right away.

CPTT funds are supporting the general upkeep of Brussel and Sprout, and Mr Hawkins has done a brilliant job stretching these with some clever building for their enclosure.

But we'd love to get additional equipment such as:

- overalls for the children to wear whilst working with the goats

- child sized mucking out equipment such as forks, brushes, and wheelbarrows

- rubber matting to make cleaning the goat shed easier

- money towards a security camera for the animal area

Ladysmith Goat Fund Brussel and Sprout, the new Ladysmith pygmy goats have arrived, and will provide a unique outdoor learning experience for the pupils. We are raising money for equipment to enable the children to get the most out of caring for the goats.

It was an exciting day at Ladysmith... Our goats, Brussel and Sprout, arrived at their new home! 😍

They surprised the Juniors at a special assembly this afternoon, with the children learning about how the goats will be looked after and what they can do to keep them safe and calm.

Then Brussel and Sprout were taken to explore their enclosure. They really liked the seesaw that Mr Hawkins had made for them!

They will be visiting the Infants on Friday and will be slowly introduced to small groups of children over the coming weeks 🐐🐐

Our chickens will soon have some company...

This lovely new enclosure is all ready for the Ladysmith goats, Brussel and Sprout! We can't wait to see them settling into their new home 🐐🐐

We're keeping the exact date a surprise but expect lots of goat pictures once they have arrived 🤣😍

We got a few before and after pictures but not any in the middle as it all got a bit manic as there were SO MANY PEOPLE!! It was brilliant to see and we hope everyone enjoyed themselves.

A big thank you to parents in years 1 and 3 who donated an incredible amount of cakes.

Thanks also to all our volunteers, we couldn't do these events without your help 😍

How do you eat yours?? 😋 These are the prizes for our Easter Trail, which takes place tomorrow after school at the Juniors!

🐰 Can you help the Easter Bunny to decorate its eggs? Solve the clues to find 8 stickered dots around the Junior field, then collect your Cadbury's Creme Egg when you're done. £1 per trail sheet. (If it's wet, we'll tweak the trail so it will still be available!)

☕ This is part of our Pop Up Cafe, from 3.30pm onwards in the Junior Hall.

🐣 We'll have free Easter crafts and you can grab a bargain at our second hand uniform stall!

This is our first Pop Up Cafe for over 2 years! We really hope you can come along and help us raise some money for our lovely Infants and Juniors schools while enjoying cake, crafts and chat 😊

🎶 For the first time in forever... There'll be cakes and crafts and drinks... 🎶

We're excited to be bringing back our Pop Up Cafe next week after a veeery long break 🙌

And it's an 'eggstra' special one to celebrate the Easter holidays!

🐰 Take part in our Easter Trail to help the Bunny find all its eggs - have fun solving the clues around the Juniors field and be rewarded with a yummy Cadbury's Creme Egg. Pick up your trail sheet from the cafe @ £1 a sheet, with written or picture clues to choose from.

🍰 Buy delicious cakes and other treats, kindly donated by parents in years 1 and 3. There will also be a selection of hot drinks and squash.
