🐌✨ Finishing off Snail Week from last week…

What started with fruity snail bread making turned into a week full of discovery, creativity and wonder.

Our Wild Tots got busy sawing wood slices and moulding clay to create their very own snails, traced winding snail trails through flour, explored our “That’s Not My Snail…” sensory boards and snuggled up together for some wonderful snail stories.

It’s amazing how one tiny creature can spark so much learning, imagination and joy.

These simple moments of childhood, dirty hands, curious questions, shared stories and time spent outdoors are the memories that last a lifetime. 💚

We love watching little ones slow down, notice the world around them and find magic in the smallest things.

Did your little explorer spot any snails at home after our snail adventures? 🐌

On Saturday, we pressed pause on the busyness of everyday life and spent a few precious hours immersed in the woodland. 🌿✨

Our Woodland Reset Morning was a chance to slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect with nature, creativity and one another.

Together, we gathered beneath the trees, undertook mindfulness, explored botanical crafts, took moments for quiet reflection and enjoyed delicious campfire cooking. There was laughter, meaningful conversation and the gentle reminder that making time for ourselves matters.

Watching everyone relax into the rhythm of the woodland and leave with handmade treasures, new friendships and a renewed sense of calm was truly special. 💚

Thank you to all the wonderful women who joined us on Saturday and embraced the opportunity to pause, create and reconnect.

If a morning of nature, creativity and community sounds like exactly what you need, keep an eye on our page, we’d love to welcome you to a future Woodland Reset Morning in September.

What would your perfect woodland reset include? 🌲☕🔥

The best childhood memories aren’t bought… they’re baked over a campfire. 🔥🍞🐌

This week at Wild Tots, our little adventurers rolled, shaped and cooked their very own fruity snail breads over the campfire. From sticky fingers and helping hands to proud first bites, these are the moments childhood is made of. ❤️

Campfire cooking is about so much more than food. It encourages confidence, develops fine motor skills, inspires children to try new things and creates opportunities for families to connect through shared experiences in nature.

If you’re looking for toddler activities in Devon that combine outdoor play, Forest School experiences and meaningful learning opportunities, Wild Tots offers the perfect chance to slow down, explore and make magical memories together.

Beneath the trees, surrounded by friends, and lost in a story. 📖🌿

At Wildlings Forest Kindergarten, we believe childhood isn’t a race. It’s a time for wonder, imagination and connection.

Because some of the most important learning happens when we simply slow down and listen.

“Can you eat flowers?”

This week at Wild Tots, we discovered the answer is… yes! 🌼🔥

We made elderflower fritters together, measuring ingredients, whisking batter, dipping fresh elderflower heads and cooking them over the campfire.

But the magic wasn’t just in the cooking.

It was in the pouring, stirring, waiting, smelling, tasting and learning together in the woodland.

Outdoor cooking gives children opportunities to build confidence, develop practical skills and connect with nature in a truly hands-on way.

Would your little one try an elderflower fritter? 🌿👇
