🌟 It’s , and there is no doubt whatsoever that we wouldn’t be The Magical Maynard without everything our amazing staff do every single day! 🌟
From the classroom to the school office, from the playground to the site team, and to everyone working tirelessly behind the scenes, thank you so much for all the different ways you show up for our girls. We are so lucky to have a dream team!
Our students say it best – this lovely group made these exceptionally funky bejewelled signs to mark the occasion. 💙
💬 If you want to share a ‘thank you’ too, please tell us in the comments!

Our Lower 6 (Year 12) geographers have returned from their fascinating four-day trip to Snowdonia and Birmingham! 🗻🏙️
From Welsh mountains to Birmingham’s cityscape, they explored how places adapt and evolve. They traced the shift from slate mining to adventure tourism at Llechwedd Slate Cavern, investigated glacial landscapes at Cwm Idwal and the Nant Ffrancon Valley, then finished in Birmingham, examining structural economic change and urban regeneration in one of the UK’s largest cities.

📸 Highlights from the Exeter Chiefs Women's recent games! 👏🏉
As proud sponsors and huge rugby fans, cheering on our incredible hometown team is always a weekend favourite. They're a constant inspiration to our young players, and we are so fortunate to have welcomed them into school over the years for all the many talks, training sessions, rugby festivals and more!

Lucy, Alice and Jasmine have done some absolutely amazing work to fundraise over £400 combined for The Guide Dogs and Pets as Therapy by selling hair bows! To keep learning about this brilliant cause, our Pre-Prep and Junior students got to meet a real guide dog in training and listen to a fascinating assembly all about how guide dogs support so many people in their daily lives. 🐕🦺💙
It was incredible to hear firsthand about the experience of raising a guide dog, and also to reflect on the treasured memory of Nula - a beloved school dog for around 8 years who did guide dog training herself, and then became a therapy dog for our students.
Well done to our fantastic fundraisers and thank you so much to The Guide Dogs for taking the time to visit!

Let's address the elephant in the (art) room... Creative Lower 4 (Year 8) are working hard to assemble what will eventually be gargantuan elephant head sculptures for their art projects!
This week, they've been using willow withies to create 3D cage-like structures, then wrapping them in clingfilm and paper to get them ready to decorate. Stay tuned for the final results towards the end of term! 🐘🎨

Last Friday, super Speech and Drama students in the Junior School treated parents to a gorgeous performance of their Verse and Prose pieces. 🎭
It was a wonderful opportunity for the girls to share all their hard work, and for them to perform in front of an audience in preparation for their LAMDA Verse and Prose exams this weekend. Over fifty students will be taking part - we wish them all the very best! 🤞
