The annual GSA Condover Hall netball trip is always a hugely exciting start to the year for our top-tier U14 players, and this year was no exception!

Last weekend, the team enjoyed plenty of fantastic netball, making huge strides in skill and confidence that will give them a great boost for the season to come. They balanced their hard work training with plenty of fun activities too, taking on the high ropes and zip wire - and even getting the chance to meet some international netballers!

- from months of fundraising to an unforgettable adventure across Peru!

A host of intrepid Maynardians had the trip of a lifetime this summer, exploring the wonders of this beautiful country alongside giving back through a community sustainability project with the locals, for which they've been hard at work fundraising.

Peru delivered adventures at every turn, include a biking tour across the stunning landscapes, rafting through mountain rivers, taking on the incredible Salkantay Trek, and, of course, reaching the heights of the iconic Machu Picchu! What an incredible way to experience a new place and culture firsthand!

Badminton 2027, here she comes! 🐎🏆

Massive congratulations to Eliza (Lower 5, Year 10) on qualifying for the Badminton Horse Trials Grassroots Championships next year 🎉! Partnering her pony, Harry, the pair sailed to an incredible second place at last weekend’s Chillington Horse Trials, finishing on their dressage score and just 0.5 marks behind the eventual winner.

This is a truly wonderful result in the most competitive of disciplines and the absolute stuff of any horse rider’s dreams (wouldn’t we all love to ride around the hallowed ground of Badminton?)! And to achieve it at just 14-years old is a truly extraordinary achievement! We really couldn’t be prouder and more excited for her! 🙌

🏐🔥 Next level netball is officially HERE with our brand new U19 Netball Academy! 🔥🏐

After a competitive trial earlier this year, our top-tier players have earned their place in this elite squad and will now have access to exclusive training, fixtures and exciting opportunities to take their game even further.

Yesterday they had their first fixture as part of the Sisters in Sport competition, taking on Truro School with exceptional focus, teamwork and drive, and safe to say it paid off - they now have their very first win in the bag!

A fantastic start for the U19s and an exciting first chapter for the new Netball Academy!

Our U13 hockey stars have had a wonderful start to the season with a fab tournament at Blundell's last weekend!

They were absolutely fantastic and played some amazing hockey, particularly considering these were their first games back after the summer and their first games together as a team. We are super proud of them! 👏🏑

How incredible to hear the school filled with gorgeous music again after the summer break! 🎶🎷🎺

Jazz Band and a great many of our musical ensembles were back together practicing again this week, and we can't wait to hear more from them in the months to come!
