Things have been exceedingly difficult this year and my prison and primary education research has very much come to a grinding halt! My thoughts are still very much with dyslexic and reading difficulties learners and I hope Educators don't feel pressured into one size fits all in their need to get back up to speed. Home learning enabled parents to think out of the box, text to read, read aloud apps and reading pens were ideas and concepts some parents told me they were using with success. Sadly prisoners who have learning difficulties had no access to teachers or assistive technology... An ideal time to focus on independent learning but with little or no resources an opportunity that has been missed?
