Some of year 6 got very wet but they had such a great day!

Year six have had a fantastic day doing team building activities, as well as abseiling, low ropes and Jacob's ladder. The children have shown amazing resilience, collaboration and have faced many fears. Miss Thomspon and Miss Tarr also had a go at crate stacking and the children were all keen to help push the crates down at the end! They are having an amazing time!

Year 6 had a fantastic time on their first day at Great Potheridge. They've spent the afternoon in groups doing low ropes, crate stack, Jacobs ladder and orienteering. They've also been playing ball games outside on the lawn and went for a night walk.

Year 6 have arrived safely at Great Potheridge House and are busy unpacking and getting settled in.

Year One spent Friday afternoon celebrating all of their hard work last week, showing off their amazing reading during their phonics screener checks. We had a 'senses celebration' to link with our current science topic. The children looked at bubbles, made music in nature, smelt different objects and guessed what they were, made tree rubbings with chalk to touch and lastly, toasted marshmallows on our new fire pit.

The children had a fantastic time celebrating. Well done for all of your hard work Year One!

Year 2 had a great time on their 'Regal Royals' Hook Day! They learned all about the features of castles, created their own coat of arms and made their own clay castle models!

We can't wait to hear all about year 5s adventures. Here's some photos from their last night and this morning. There was hot chocolate around the camp fire, toasted marshmallows with songs, stories and games. This morning, they have been designing, constructing and launching rockets across the grounds with eggy pilots. Last but not least, we have had a prize giving, celebrating our competition winners and star camper. Well done to you all!

Year 2 had a fantastic day at Dawlish Warren as part of their 'Beside the Seaside' theme! They had a go at pond dipping, beach combing, bug hunting and even managed to squeeze in some time for fish and chips! A proper day at the seaside!!
