We have achieved an unprecedented three ‘Exceptional’ ratings from Ofsted following a review of our Degree Apprenticeship programmes!

We were awarded the highest grade in respect of our Leadership and Governance, Achievement, and Participation and Development to become the first skills provider in England to score so highly under Ofsted’s revised system.

Ofsted hailed the “transformational” impact that our Degree Apprenticeships are having upon apprentices and their employers, praising the way we have broken down barriers to learning, particularly for those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

We have taught Degree Apprenticeships for a decade and have the largest portfolio of any Russell Group member. Our 22 programmes cover key strategic areas such as Digital and Data, Engineering and Mining, Healthcare, and Accounting & Finance, and range from Level 4 (Higher National Certificate/Certificate of Higher Education) to Level 7 (Masters).

Around 4,200 students are currently enrolled, with the support of more than 500 partner organisations, including J.P. Morgan, Amazon.com, BT and IBM.

We've been working in partnership with Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and not-for-profit social enterprise Imagine If to deliver a Market Health Hub for farmers and people who live in rural areas in Holsworthy.

"I had thought that my options were limited. That’s when I learned about Clearing! Clearing is the period in which UK universities allow students to apply for any vacancies on courses that they have, long after the initial application deadlines have passed. I found it to be a great opportunity to explore degrees, programmes, and institutions that I hadn’t considered before."
