Here are my available slots for guitar, bass and ukulele lessons.

A little recording day today, just trying out Bandlab on the tablet. Signed up for the 3 day trial, not too bad so far!

Well the guitar cupboards are in!! All that's left to do is sort through my junk, get rid of some stuff so I can stay tidy and then get the skirting done then my refurb is complete.

Massive thanks to Marc, Pete and Zak from .smith.bespoke.kitchens for all their work doing the design, building and fitting them in.

Once I have sorted a colour out I will paint them but for now it's nice to have the storage for all my gear!!

I'd just like to say thank you to all my students this year for all their hard work and support.

It's been a great year here at Guitar With Smoo.

I will be logging off at 9pm this evening so I would just like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and I will see you all next year with some exciting updates from me.

Around 10.50pm on this day in 1980 the music world lost one of the greatest songwriters the world has ever seen.

Walking back into his apartment building John Lennon was shot the back by Mark Chapman.

Despite attempts to save him he was pronounced dead at around 11.00pm.

I for one have been a fan of his music since I first heard the Beatles as a kid and then in later years got into his solo material.

He has been dead longer than he was alive and his music will live on for a long time in the future.

RIP John, thanks for the music

I am off to host Open Mic at The Radway Inn this evening from 7pm.

Pa provided and all acts welcome.
