Our goal is to bring students who are American or who want to learn and engage in American culture an opportunity to discover and participate in something new and exciting. We will be holding socials once a fortnight and there will be one big "American" event per month.

We just wanted to remind everyone that election nomination period is still open! There are 3 positions to run for: President, Social Secretary and Treasure. Deadline is June 1st and voting will take place between the 2-6 of June. Send us a message if you have any questions!

Hey Amsoc members,
First off we want to pass on our support to everyone during all this global chaos! We hope everyone is hanging in there and most importantly staying safe and taking care of themselves. If you have questions or want to reach out for whatever reason we are available via messenger & don’t hesitate to reach out!
We want to pass on some good news and that is that as of tomorrow we will be opening applications for our new 2020/21 committee! The application process is very straight forward and voting will take place on the student guild site(links will be posted here the day of). There are openings for: President, Social Secretary and Treasure.
This year our versions of manifestos will be excepted as either:
1. Short video submissions answering the following questions (1-3 minutes)
2. Written manifesto (max 200 words) you can look at our fb pages for last years applications and their take on it

Hello everyone,
We will unfortunately have to cancel plans we made for St Patrick's Day. This is of course due to the risks related to COVID-19 and particularly events and group gatherings in public spaces. We hope everyone will stay safe and take precautionary measures advised by the WHO and government agencies. Shortly, we hope to release information about AGM elections in the coming month!
