Did you spot Sarah's article in the latest edition of PQ Magazine?
Our own Sarah, AAT Tutor at Accountancy Learning, recently shared why understanding the why behind DEAD CLIC is far more powerful than simply memorising the acronym.
The article looks at how the accounting equation provides a logical framework for double-entry bookkeeping, helping students build confidence and tackle more challenging transactions with ease.
If you've got the latest issue of PQ Magazine, you'll find Sarah's article on page 24.

π 45% of firms believe the accounting talent shortage is worse than it was three years ago.
Recruiting skilled accounting professionals has never been easy, but many employers feel the challenge is becoming even greater.
As demand for talent continues to grow, more businesses are asking...
How do we build a workforce that's ready for the future?
Recently, Simon Deane at Accountancy Learning explored why developing talent from within is becoming an essential part of long-term workforce planning and what that could mean for employers.
Do you agree with these findings? Has recruiting accounting professionals become more difficult in recent years?
π¬ We'd love to hear your thoughts.

β½ With England taking on France this weekend, here's a French fact you might not know...
The Eiffel Tower almost didn't survive⦠and a brilliant head for figures helped save it.
In the early 1900s, the iconic landmark was scheduled to be dismantled. But Maurice Koechlin, a structural engineer with a talent for numbers, saw another possibility.
His detailed calculations showed that the tower could be used for military radio communications. Those behind-the-scenes figures helped convince officials to keep it standing.
And the rest is history. πΌβ¨
Sometimes the right calculations can change the course of history.
