Hi, my name is Steve. I teach drums and percussion in my purpose built studios, named 'Drum Magic'. I have a life long passion for drumming and music of all styles. It gives me great pleasure and satisfaction to pass on what knowledge I have built up over my many years of drumming and teaching. I have been drumming for over 50 years and teaching for over 30 years. I teach people of all ages and abilities. I teach both one-to-one and group lessons/workshops. Instruments that I teach:

I have been a part time lecturer in percussion at Plymouth University and Dartington College of Arts working with music and theatre P.G.C.E (teacher training) and degree students. I have taught at Exeter College and at the Academy of Music and Sound in Exeter. As well as teaching one-to-one lessons, I also do workshops and group drumming. I currently have drum groups at Exeter School, Cathedral School, Steiner School and at The Phoenix Arts Centre (Gandy Street, Exeter) which is mostly for adults.
