We are delighted to share that our school has been awarded the Silver School Games Mark for this year. This recognition reflects the hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication of our pupils and staff in promoting sport, physical activity, and a positive school games culture.
The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.
Our sporting achievements this year include:
3rd Place at the Devon county finals in Boccia
3rd Place at the year 10/11 football tournament
3rd place at the girls football tournament
4th Place at the year 8/9 football tournament
Over 15 sports festivals attended
With lots of young people competing in local inter-school competitions this year, we are extremely proud of our pupils for their dedication to all aspects of school sport, including those young volunteers, leaders and officials who made our competitions possible.
We look forward to applying once again in 2027!
Well done all.
