My little โamiguitosโ ๐ฆ๐ง๐ถwere introduced to lots of Halloween characters ๐งโ๐๐ป๐งโโ๏ธ๐ฆbut they especially LOVED meeting โla brujaโ ๐งโโ๏ธ and helping her to fix her โescobaโ ๐งนby creating a special magic potion! ๐ช๐ตโจWe played lots of party games, listened to songs ๐ตabout โ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐งโโ๏ธโ, โ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐โ๐ป ๐๐๐
โ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐โ๐ and we read a story about โun monstruo pequeรฑoโ๐น. Some of the children even dressed up for the class in their favourite Halloween costumes.

๐๐งโโ๏ธHalloween is here, but did you know that in Spain they celebrate ๐๐ฅ ๐รญ๐ ๐๐ ๐๐จ๐๐จ๐ฌ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐จ๐ฌ (All Saintsโ Day) on 1st November?
This day is all about honouring and remembering loved ones who have passed. Families gather to visit cemeteries, bringing flowers and share memories in a meaningful celebration of life and legacy. ๐บChrysanthemums are the flowers most associated with the holiday. These flowers symbolise honour and respect and are traditionally placed on graves of loved ones.โค๏ธ
๐๐๐๐ฅ ๐รญ๐ ๐๐ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐จ๐ฌ, a similar celebration celebrated in Mexico with vibrant altars, sugar skulls, and colourful traditions.
๐In recent years, Halloween itself has become increasingly popular in Spain and is celebrated much like it is here! With the next day as a bank holiday, children get to stay up a bit later to go โtruco o tratoโ (trick or treat) and enjoy all the fun and treats. ๐งโโ๏ธ๐งโโ๏ธ
