Check out the story behind our artwork!
Last week, we welcomed guests to our new Centre for Law and Social Sciences for an evening showcasing the amazing artwork that makes this building special!
We also unveiled a slate tile featuring sketches of the Testament Sculptures by UAL Art & Design student Rose Smith!
Here's what Rose said about the project:
"I especially enjoyed drawing the more abstract statues, such as Resurrection. I think that interest is reflected in the level of detail in those pieces.
"Having said that, the most challenging parts of the drawing process for me was trying to communicate the statuesβ curvature and form without adding too much detail and overcomplicating the work. I tried to find the right balance, which I hope I achieved to some extent."
