Samuel achieved his award last year and had the honour of attending this prestigious event, and Josh, a dedicated UK DofE Youth Ambassador, represented us with pride.

Careers Progression Weeks are in full swing!

From 9th - 26th June, our Careers Team is running fun and interactive drop-in sessions designed to help you think about your next steps - with prizes to be won! 🎉

👉 This week (15–19 June), the focus is: DISCOVER – What Interests and Motivates You? Take part in activities to explore what drives you and how this links to your future career.

📍 Where: S02, Greystone House (or outside if the weather’s good!)

🕚 When: Monday–Friday, 11.00am–2.00pm.

There are also opportunities across all three weeks to chat about university, apprenticeships, employment, gap years, and progression options.

Exeter Women's Football Academy 🤝 Exeter City Women FC

One-year of the relaunched partnership between our Women's Football Academy and Exeter City FC is in the bag, and what a year it's been!

- AOC National Champs
- Two players called up for England Colleges
- Georgia Vaccaro scoring in front 1,500 at St James Park
- 1st and 2nd place ACE League finishes
- National Cup semi-finalists
- 4th in the Junior Premier League

Last week, our Level 2 Maintenance Operatives had an incredible experience at the Valspar Trade Colour Workshop! It was a packed session for learners filled with engaging activities, including:

- A deep dive into Sherwin Williams and Valspar Trade
- Insights into paint and colour understanding
- Exciting live demonstrations
- A fun quiz, informative handouts, and cool giveaways

A huge thank you to Valspar UK & Ireland for organising such a fantastic workshop for our learners! 👏

This year, a record 25 of our learners have proudly represented their country in sports ranging from rugby and football to taekwondo and ultimate frisbee. 🙌

Last week, we welcomed guests to our new Centre for Law and Social Sciences for an evening showcasing the amazing artwork that makes this building special!

We also unveiled a slate tile featuring sketches of the Testament Sculptures by UAL Art & Design student Rose Smith!

Here's what Rose said about the project:

"I especially enjoyed drawing the more abstract statues, such as Resurrection. I think that interest is reflected in the level of detail in those pieces.

"Having said that, the most challenging parts of the drawing process for me was trying to communicate the statues’ curvature and form without adding too much detail and overcomplicating the work. I tried to find the right balance, which I hope I achieved to some extent."
