✨ Meet the Tutor: Carly ✨

Carly is one of our Manual Lymphatic Drainage tutors and brings a unique blend of scientific understanding, practical experience and genuine enthusiasm to the classroom.

With a Degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences and a background in personal training and rehabilitation, Carly developed a deep appreciation for the incredible capabilities of the human body. After retraining as a massage therapist, she discovered a particular passion for Manual Lymphatic Drainage and the profound impact it can have on health, recovery and wellbeing.

As a tutor, Carly is passionate about helping students understand both the science and the art of lymphatic work. Her supportive teaching style, combined with her belief that learning should be enjoyable, helps students build confidence while developing practical skills they can take straight into clinic.

Alongside teaching, Carly runs a busy private practice offering Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Facials and Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and co-manages the Massage and Wellbeing Centre in Gandy Street.

When she's not teaching or treating clients, you'll find her enjoying movement, travel, nature, music and photography – all of which continue to inspire her appreciation for the connection between body, mind and environment.

We're incredibly lucky to have Carly as part of the School of Bodywork team.

Have you trained with Carly before? We'd love to hear about your experience below 👇

There's something special about watching practitioners begin to understand fascia in a completely new way.

For the next two days our Fascial Bodywork Diploma students continued their journey, developing hands-on skills and exploring how the fascial system influences movement, pain and function throughout the body.

We love seeing those "lightbulb moments" happen in the classroom.

Have you trained in fascial work yet?

A day to step out of doing… and into feeling.

This is about:
– Slowing your pace
– Refining your touch
– Connecting with others
– Deepening your practice

Join us on 20th June.
This is a day specifically for those who have completed previous Fascial Bodywork/Myofascial Release training. If you have no experience in this work we recommend you attend the Introduction to Fascial Bodywork day.

For therapists ready to deepen and evolve their work…

Cranial & TMJ Level 2 is a progression from Level 1 that begins to shift how you view the body as a whole. There's still time to book your place, next course 13th & 14th June.

Rather than focusing purely on the jaw and cranium in isolation, this course explores the relationships between the jaw, head, pelvis, and wider body—and how these connections can influence tension patterns, compensation, and TMJ-related symptoms.

As your perspective expands, so does your treatment approach.

There is continued development of both massage and fascial techniques, with a growing emphasis on refinement, responsiveness, and trusting what you feel beneath the surface.

This is where treatments often begin to feel:
✨ More integrated
✨ More fluid
✨ More intuitive
✨ More deeply effective

You’ll learn to adapt your work more confidently to the individual in front of you, rather than relying solely on protocol or routine.

Ideal for therapists wanting to deepen their understanding, clinical reasoning, and hands-on skills within TMJ and cranial work.

Prerequisite: Cranial & TMJ Level 1
