After my GCSE Maths mock I started having a weekly lesson with Andy. He was very helpful, thorough and he explained things really well. My son started having private tutoring with Andrew Hardy in Sept 2019 as he started year 11.Connor had a very flat year 10 lost interest and was falling behind with his grades in maths. Connor not once moaned about the extra lessons outside school he actually enjoyed going as Andrew made it fun and made it interesting , it also really boosted his confidence in the subject where he was actually helping his brother at home with maths homework. In Jan 2020 we had parents eve at his school where his maths teacher said Connor was the most improved year 11 student and grades had quickly picked back up and has now just passed his maths. Andrew has done a great job with our son who needed some additional support with certain aspects of his A Level maths. He has helped our son feel more secure of his understanding and grasp of the subject, and helped him work out how to perform better in test situations. He has gone at the right pace for him and understood quickly what the areas of concern were. Andrew is clear, patient, calm, reliable, and a good communicator who could meet our son at the right level to support his way of learning. He was also able to let us know immediately he thought he had finished what he could offer to our son and suggested ending the tutoring unless the need arose again. started. He must us both feel welcome and comfortable. He always
discussed with her which topics she wanted to cover and therefore
maximised the time they had available. His manner was very patient and
he explained things in more than one way if necessary, which made her
feel able to ask questions. He also talked about exam technique and
gave her some great advice which I'm sure helped her to pass her GCSE

Andrew tutored my daughter for her A level maths and was a fantastic tutor.
