We are delighted to announce that Woodbury Primary School has achieved the School Games Platinum Mark Award for 2025/26! 🎉

Willow class are fundraising for plants to make our playgrounds more pollinator friendly. They will be holding an ice lolly sale tomorrow, Friday 18th September after school - please come along 😋

TWO MORE SLEEPS! 🎉💙

We can’t wait to see everyone back at Woodbury School on Monday and to begin another exciting school year together!

We hope our children are feeling rested, excited and ready to learn. Our staff have all been working hard behind the scenes to get the classrooms ready and make sure everything is looking its best for the year ahead. 🏫✨

We are looking forward to welcoming familiar faces back — and giving a very special welcome to those joining the Woodbury family for the first time. 💙

We have successfully managed to nurture (approx 40!l) baby giant African Land Snails 🐌 which we would like to pass to our Woodbury Family...for a small donation (funds will be given to the PTFA).
Gary and Shelby love being together in their home - therefore we would like to offer them in pairs.
Giant African Land Snails are very low maintenance, and do enjoy the company of humans (in my case, being held by the children, if somewhat briefly). All you need is a suitable home, suitable peat-free compost, access to water and a diet of salad or vegetables.

We celebrated Yr6's production of The Tempest on Thursday evening - another beautiful evening for outdoor Theatre! 🌞
They were fantastic - fought against the odds when technology suspended them,brought laughter to their audience and performed with energy and creativity.

Ash Class did themselves proud by hosting a fantastic Enterprise Event on Friday! 🎉
The children planned and ran the event from start to finish with a £6 budget, carrying out market research, making products, promoting their stalls, and selling their handmade items. Everyone enjoyed games, cake, brownies, biscuits, and ice cream!
A huge thank you to all our families for your amazing support and generosity. We raised an incredible £362! The proceeds will go to the PTFA to benefit our school, with 25% being donated to the Dogs Trust.

Oak class had a wonderful time at Sidmouth. They learnt about what makes Sidmouth a popular place to visit and looked at the physical and human features.

Beech Class had so much fun on their trip to World of Country Life!
The children developed their gross motor skills on the play equipment, held and stroked guinea pigs, hand-fed deer from the land train, explored the pirate ship, looked around the museum and bottle fed goats!

🎶 Yesterday afternoon, our Year 2–6 choir visited Dove Lodge Care Home and performed three wonderful songs, bringing smiles to the residents. We were especially proud of the kindness and confidence our children showed as they chatted with residents after their performance. 🎶Doveleigh Care Ltd

A big thank you to Woodbury Community Allotments for hosting our logo competition entrants on Friday. The children explored the plots, guessed what was growing, enjoyed cake and a drink, and watched our winner put up the new poster featuring her logo. A fantastic morning!
