Recently, our Year 6 pupils took part in an exciting trip led by Sideshore Sea Safety. They learned important skills about staying safe in local seas and communicating effectively with lifeguards.
The children also enjoyed Environmental and Art workshops, helping them to explore the impact of climate change and our role in protecting the environment.

Beech Class had so much fun taking part in Sports Day! They used their balance and coordination skills, speed and agility throughout every event, as well as showing wonderful sportsmanship.

Key Stage 2 children had the wonderful opportunity to visit Dovelodge Care Home as part of the residents’ World Cup celebrations. The children entertained residents by demonstrating their football skills, including penalty shoot-outs, keepy-uppies and headers, which brought plenty of smiles and laughter. The children also spent some time chatting with residents, showing exemplary manners, kindness and positivity.

Willow Class have had a flower-tastic couple of days! They went on a walk around the village to spot some beautiful wild flowers for their Science lesson. Today, they explored using pencils, oil pastels and watercolour paints to create some lovely flower pictures for their Art lesson.

Cherry Class have loved picking and tasting the strawberries they grew in their allotment! 🍓😋

We had a wonderful afternoon recently celebrating May Day, with great company, plenty of smiles, and a fantastic community spirit throughout. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success.

Today, Friday 22nd May, is our May Day and Community Picnic afternoon! 🌸☀️
From 12.00pm, you are warmly invited to bring a picnic to share with your children and friends on the school field.
The afternoon’s entertainment will be led by the children, with singing, Maypole and country dancing 🐟🧜‍♀️🏴‍☠️💃🏻 beginning at approximately 1.15pm.
We can’t wait to see everyone for a lovely afternoon together 😀🧺🌼

Charlie has enjoyed her time in school this half term, always looking forward to her visits from the children...getting a brush, a cuddle and something to eat!

Thank you to Tiverton museum for their loan box. Cherry class enjoyed exploring the different artefacts and resources from 5 different Ancient Civilisations- Greece, Egypt, Mayan, Roman and Sumerian.
