Working on emollient pathway, so many on the market! Skin hydration is essential for its function and barrier protection as well as feeling good. Dry skin is often neglected. Remember skin is the building blocks and the emollient is the cement 🏑

What do you think of Purpose T risk assessment in place of Waterlow or Braden?

Head over to the Pressure ulcer prevention champion QI FB group for discussion between TVNs on how we are finding it in practice on 24th March

Thank you to the Royal College of Occupational Therapists for inviting me to speak on ways we can work together as MDTs to prevent pressure ulcers. It is so important to for nurses and allied health professionals to join heads to find joint strategies of working together in prevention planning.
Always get so many great ideas from AHPs, particularly loved this model one OT takes with her to clients to show areas of risk when seated πŸŒŸπŸ™ŒπŸ€
