Announcing March's Webinar with Jeanie Honey: Enneatrek: a novel way of teaching the Enneagram.

In November 2024, Jeanie Honey led an ‘enneatrek’ in Nepal, taking a group of women (‘the Nepal Nine’) on an 8-day trek and combining it with an inner journey of exploring the Enneagram. It was a big adventure, and an opportunity to use the Enneagram in new and creative ways.

As we move into the spring season with the longer, lighter days, this webinar is an exploration of how to integrate outdoor adventure with a profound Enneagram experience.

Do join Jeanie and the Enneagram Alive Team to hear about this exciting journey on March 19 2025 19.30-21.00 GMT.

The Enneagram is a super-helpful model for understanding yourself and others and for personal growth. Here is the lovely group I was with on a 3 day enneagram retreat last week at the Othona Community, West Dorset.

What better way to learn about the enneagram than going on a 3 day Enneagram Retreat, walking the Saints Way in Cornwall? It's a beautiful route, we had glorious weather and amazing conversations.

I am relaxing here after the Enneagram retreat at Othona. There were 14 of us, exploring together each of our enneagram types, what drives us, what our focus of attention is and where our energy goes. We also explored what we don't see in ourselves, our blindspots. We combined questions, discussions, meditations, music, singing, walking and wonderful conversations all in the beautiful setting of the Othona community. It was a real reminder of what an incredible resource the Enneagram is, so helpful for understanding yourself and all your relationships. I will be leading another workshop at Othona in November (Nov 16-19) to follow on from this one.

"We see the world not as it is but as we are".
Which is why I love teaching the Enneagram because it shows what drives us, what we pay attention to and what we don't pay attention to! And why people are so different.

An introductory exploration of the Enneagram in the gorgeous setting of the Othona Community, Dorset, for people who may be in the early stages of their Enneagram journey on the 13th-16th April. With a fascinating programme planned, we will explore all the types and the subtypes during the 3 day workshop. The retreat will be a safe space for exploration, conversation, questions and diving deep into who we are and what drives us. There will be time for walks by the sea, and opportunities for one to one sessions with me for anyone who is not yet sure of their enneagram type.

Here are some New Year Reminders for the Nine Enneagram Type Patterns.

As you welcome 2023, here is a reminder for each type to reflect on and take into the new year and all that lies ahead:

1- Serenity comes from being at ease with imperfection, letting go of judgments and accepting things the way they are.

2 - Love does not come from giving and getting – it is found in oneself.

3 - Not everything is dependent on our efforts – when we slow down and let things be, we can be truly present for ourselves and others.

4 - When we focus on what’s missing, we miss out on appreciating what we have.

5 - A rich life means embracing the full range of human experience.

6 - When we relax our vigilance and stay in the present moment, we notice that everything is ok.

7 - Noticing hunger for stimulation and gratification is a reminder to return to the present.

8 - The mundane, the moderate and the mild have their own virtues.

9 - Every complaint contains a hidden want, wish, need or desire.

Wishing you a 2023 full of presence, belonging and transformation!

I have spent 3 days facilitating Exploring the Enneagram with a beautiful group of 16 people at the Othona Community West Dorset - "a place to be real together." Hearing people tell their stories and discover their type , I was struck again by the accuracy and power of the enneagram. It gives you so much information about yourself and your relationships, and there is that moment of recognition when you see yourself in the particular type that you are. I loved being in a group of people who want to grow into all that they can be, their true selves. As well as lots of talking we had attention practices, tears and laughter, singing and dancing and some of us swam in the sea. There will be future workshops like this one if you are interested. 😊

Exploring the Enneagram | Othona West Dorset How can a strange nine-pointed star help anybody make sense of their life? Well, as a diagram it illustrates an ancient and uncannily perceptive model of the varieties of human personality and spiritual essence.

I'm delighted to be facilitating an enneagram workshop at the Othona Community in Dorset, July 14-17. Othona is a place of community, creativity and spirituality and it's in a lovely location by the sea. It's a special place to me because of the enneagram workshops I have attended there in previous years run by Karen Webb. If you would like to explore the Enneagram and have a relaxing retreat in a beautiful place, do consider booking.
