🌍💙 OUR ANNUAL RIVER EXE LITTER PICK IS BACK! 💙🌍

On Tuesday 18 August 2026 Team Archway will be swapping our usual working day for gloves, litter pickers and rubbish bags as we head back to the beautiful River Exe for our annual community litter pick. 🌿♻️

Cleaning might be our business, but looking after our community means so much more than the buildings we clean.

We live here. We work here. Our families are here. And this is our community too. 💙

That's why this isn't a one-off for us. Every year, our team comes together to give some time back to the place we're proud to call home.

It might only be one day, but lots of small actions can make a BIG difference:

🌱 Helping to protect wildlife and our river
🤝 Bringing our brilliant team together
💙 Giving something back to our community

And, judging by previous years, we'll probably find at least one thing that makes the entire team ask...

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial cleaning contracts, ensuring every site consistently meets our high standards while supporting, developing and motivating your team.

Your responsibilities will include:

✔ Managing multiple client sites across the South West
✔ Leading, recruiting, training and supporting cleaning teams
✔ Carrying out regular quality audits and site inspections
✔ Building strong relationships with clients and resolving issues professionally
✔ Organising staff cover and ensuring contracts are fully delivered
✔ Mobilising new contracts, including equipment, training and site set-up
✔ Managing health & safety, COSHH and company compliance
✔ Supporting payroll, timesheets and operational administration
✔ Being part of an on-call management rota for emergency cover when required

We’re looking for someone who has:

⭐ Previous experience managing multiple cleaning or facilities contracts
⭐ Excellent leadership and people management skills
⭐ Outstanding organisation and communication skills
⭐ A hands-on attitude and willingness to lead by example
⭐ Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
⭐ Good knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH
⭐ A full UK driving licence

Job Title: Evening Cleaner

Location: Exeter Devon EX5 2FZ

Schedule: Monday to Saturday, evening shift starting at 17:00-20:00=3hrs .

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
