Duke of Kent pupils achieve beyond expectations!
A huge congratulations to our Year 11 pupils on an exceptional set of GCSE results! We are incredibly proud of all our pupils and everything they have accomplished. Their determination, resilience and commitment have been rewarded, with over 70% of all grades awarded at 9-6 and 87% of pupils achieving a grade 7 or above.
These results are about more than grades. On average, pupils achieved almost a full grade higher than their standardised CAT4 expected grades, demonstrating the progress, personal growth and hard work they have shown throughout their time at Duke of Kent School.
There were some particularly strong results across the curriculum, with Maths seeing 65% of pupils achieve grades 9-7, with an average grade of almost 7, while in English Language, 100% of pupils achieved grade 5+, with 52% achieving grades 9-7. Modern Languages continue to be a real strength, with 50% of Spanish grades at 9-7 and 100% of French pupils achieving grades 8 or 9.
