We want Bambini Nursery to be a home from home for your child, with warm and loving care. Children are at the centre of everything we do.

Bambini Nursery opened in a wing of the historic Ewell Court house in October 2006, with a private garden as well as the beautiful parkland for the children to explore. We are a full day care nursery and nursery school combined offering childcare from 3 months to 5 years. We offer individual warm and loving care in a cosy atmosphere and we aim to complement your home life in laying the foundations for your child to grow into a happy and confident individual.

Hello Everyone,
Not long to Christmas now! Hope all your shopping is nearly done.
As expected all the children have been busy learning, playing and exploring new experiences.
The children took part in some amazing planned and creative activities for Halloween & Diwali, which this year were at the same time, but we got through. The children took part in Halloween fashion parade, bug hunting, frozen creepy hands activity and much more. The children also took part in Christmas crafts and our annual Christmas Stage show, which as always was amazing.
All our children performed so well as did the parent/carer....so well done and thank you to all the parents/carers/family/friends for giving up their Saturday morning and supporting us to make the show so successful.
A reminder of our nursery closure dates;
We will close for Christmas on Tuesday 23rd December at 1.00pm Full day care children will return on Thursday 2nd January 2025.
Our term time children will return on Monday 6th January 2025.

Hello Everyone, September has been very busy with our children starting the term celebrating 'grandparents week'. The children in our toddler and pre-school class made hand prints and posted them to their grandparents. We also celebrated Harvest Festival where the children were able to explore the Autumnal vegetables and after taste them roasted. They also took part in vegetable printing and other messy activities such as leaf printing. We also celebrated Japanese Autumn Festival where the children took park in playing the Japanese Taiko drum.
Teddies also harvested their potato crop, grown in our Bambini garden. The potatoes were then boiled and given to children to taste at snack time.

Hello Everyone,
What an amazing summer we are having, too hot at times, but the children are loving the sun and especially indoor and outdoor water play. We were also lucky to have had such beautiful weather on Sports Day, which was enjoyed by all the children and families. The day was perfect!
The children have also taken part in so many activities and events like Father's day and Japanese Star festival, where children made a wish and tied it to a bamboo tree.
We also held our annual Graduation Ceremony last month to say goodbye to all our pre-school children who will be leaving very soon to start their new school in September. The day was filled with joy and sadness. Bambini team will miss all the children very much and we wish them all the very best.
The children have also been exploring Ewell Court Park collecting natural resources for their activities and noticing changes in our environment.
All our children have also created some wonderful summer related displays in connection with one of our learning topic 'summer'.

Hello Everyone,
Our children have been enjoying and exploring lots of fun activities.
These include; Mother's day craft, World book day where children and staff dressed up in their favourite book character and Easter crafts where the pre-school had lots of fun taking part in the Easter egg hunt in our garden.
We also took the opportunity of the lovely weather few days ago and our Puppy children had great adventure in the park.
Our Puppies and Teddy children also visited the local library which they all enjoyed so much, exploring the new books and listening to stories.
Our pre school have been learning about our planet Earth and the Solar system. They have also been busy in our garden planting sunflower seeds and potatoes.

Hello Everyone,
WOW what a busy start to the year! It's already end of February.
As you would expect all the children have been busy learning and exploring. In January our children celebrated Japanese New Year where our older children were able to practise writing ' the year of the dragon' in Japanese.....with help of course! We also celebrated
Japanese festival Setsbun... where children threw pretend soya beans at a monster effigy to ward of evil. In Japan by doing this it is believed it will bring happiness to their families. Our pre-school children also took part in the health check week, where their heights and weights were recorded.
February has been jam packed with the celebration of Pancake day, Mardri Gras, Chinese New Year and Valentines day.
Some of the planned activities included enjoying vegetable stir fry, pancakes (which the children helped make, yummy!). Children also took part in a dragon dance in our garden and of course they also created wonderful class displays.
This week we are celebrating Japanese Doll Festival--'Hina Matsuri'. During this festival families with girls wish their daughters a successful & a happy life. People eat and drink with families and display beautiful dolls in their house.
Our upcoming events include; World Book day, Mother's day and
Easter.

Hello Everyone,
Not long to go now till Christmas is here. The children are counting how many sleeps left and are very excited to see what Santa might bring them. At nursery the children have ben extremely busy.
We celebrated Hanukkah and Christmas. All the classes have created such wonderful displays for the wall and of course amazing crafts to take home. We also had our Christmas show which was a huge success. All the children did so well. The children also had a surprise visit from Santa!
We hope you all have a lovely Christmas with family and friends and a well deserved break. Wishing you all the best for 2024.

Hello Everyone, winter is definitely creeping up on us as the weather now seems more colder. But the children don't seem to mind it all. They have been enjoying this Autumnal weather, splashing in puddles and collecting leaves from our garden and Ewell Court Park to make some wonderful leaf art.
October and November months at Bambini have been very busy as the children took part in several events. During Harvest Festival the children explored various vegetables, which were then roasted and all the children were able to try them. They also had fun taking part in vegetable printing!
We also celebrated Japanese Autumn Festival- Omikoshi. During this festival the children wore 'Happi' coats and played the Taiko drums.
Our Halloween event was amazing as the children had all dressed up in their wonderful costumes. They took part in many activities including scary jelly and insect gloop play.
Diwali was very bright at Bambini as the nursery was lit up in fairy lights. The children listened to Ram and Sita story, created Rangoli patterns and made some beautiful Diva lamps.
The children also made some wonderful Poppy art, in aid of Remembrance Day.

Hello everyone!
A big welcome back to all our term -time children and also to all our new children and families who have just started Bambini nursery.
Congratulations to our winners of the swimming raffle! (free voucher provided by Colin Bull Swimming Club). We hope you and your child have a splashing time. We will be holding another raffle soon.
During the week commencing 4th September, Bambini celebrated Grandparents week. Our Teddy and Rabbit children created lovely pictures to send to their grandparents, which the children have now all posted.
Teddy class children also took part in our regular Heath check week, where their height and weight were recorded. They also had fun doing foot prints! Teddy class also harvested the carrots they had been growing in our Bambini garden. They were a bit small, but tasted amazing.
Kitten and Puppy have been busy strengthening their gross and fine motor skills. They have been moving their bodies in different ways indoor and outdoor.

Dear parents and carers,
We hope you all have had a lovely Summer and have managed to get some sunshine!
Bambini children have spent the Summer exploring their physical skills in the garden. They have practised their big gross motor skills by climbing, sliding, jumping, pedalling and more!
Sand and water play have been lots of fun! The children have loved exploring materials with their senses and fine motor movements.
The children have been so excited to see their tomato plants growing very well and all classes have had a chance to pick the ripe red tomatoes and taste them which were sweet and tasty!
Now, we are looking forward to the new Autumn Term. Many of our children will be moving into their new classes and we will be welcoming some new children who are joining Bambini nursery this Autumn. We wish them all great success in their settling in time.
Some of our up and coming activities include celebrating Grandparents Day, talking about the season ‘Autumn’ and the changes it brings and harvest time.

Hello Everyone,
Hope you have been all been enjoying the good weather.
Our Sports Day was absolutely amazing. We had fantastic weather perfect for a picnic.
It was so lovely to see all the families. Thank you all for taking the time to attend as without you and the children our Sports Day wouldn’t be the same.
This month Bambini children will be celebrating the Japanese festival ‘Tanabata’ (Star Festival). During this festival Japanese people write their wishes on a paper and hang them on bamboo plants. Our Teddies and Rabbits have been busy making their paper wishes and they have also been taking part in other planned class activities.
We will also be holding our yearly ‘Graduation Day’ on Saturday 22nd July for some of our pre-school children who will leaving Bambini to start school in September 2023. We will miss them all very much and wish them all the very best in their new school.

Dear Parents/Carers,
At last, Summer is here!
We hope you are all well and enjoying the long, warm, sunshine days. All the children have been so busy planting their sunflowers, growing herbs and plants in our garden.
The children have shown so much interest in growing plants and it’s so rewarding to see the children looking very proud when they care, look after, notice growth and water the plants.
This June our focus is: Father’s Day and Sports Day.
The children will be busy making cards for Father’s day celebrations and practising different ways to move, in preparation for Sports day. Our Kitten and Puppy have been practising fine motor skills and have created wonderful art work to complement their learning.
All the children have also had an opportunity to visit the park and notice the changes in the environment, especially seeing the new ducklings.
The Bambini Team are so proud to have achieved ‘good’ in our recent OFSTED inspection so a special 'well done to our Bambini Team'.

Hello everyone,

We hope everyone had a good and relaxing Easter!

What a busy month we've had. The children have been busy creating lots of lovely Easter crafts as well as some beautiful Mother's day cards.

Our Kitten and Puppy classes have been growing seeds ready for the spring time.
Rabbit and Big Rabbit class have been practising using their fine motor skills to transfer compare bears using tweezers and also practising their counting skills. They have also been using marbles to create different patterns with paint.
Teddy class have been decorating Easter eggs with stickers and drawings and also experimenting playing the guitar.

We would like to welcome our nursery school children back after the Easter break. We will also be starting our Health check week from Monday 17th April where children will be exploring Healthy Eating!
