Ewell Castle School celebrates 100 years this year and as part of the official HERITAGE OPEN DAYS we are delighted to be welcoming visitors for the first time as part of the official festival, to explore our School and learn some of the history behind our buildings.

Ewell Castle School is delighted to celebrate an exceptional set of GCSE results that reflect both the ambition of our pupils and the personalised approach that sits at the heart of the School.
This year, our high performing pupils have achieved a record-breaking 96.2% pass rate at grades 9-4, while 98% of pupils attained five or more grades at 9-4, which is also a Ewell Castle record. An impressive 46% of all grades were awarded at 9-7. Additionally, 36% of pupils achieved at least one Grade 9, demonstrating the high expectations, perseverance and academic commitment that all characterise life at Ewell Castle.
Further highlights include:
• 87% of all grades were 9–5, and 86% of pupils attained 5 or more grades 9–5
• 94% of pupils achieved a Grade 5 or above in English and Maths
• 15 subjects achieved a 100% pass rate, including English

This year, 21% of all A-level grades were A*-A, with 48% A*-B, 79% A*-C, and a 100% pass rate.

Our students will be attending the University of Oxford, UCL, Bristol, Manchester and Exeter amongst others, and many of our tennis scholars are off to the US on tennis scholarships. We're thrilled for them all. 🎉

Congratulations to Zac who represented Surrey in Birmingham over the weekend at the England Schools National Athletics Championships, which resulted in him being selected to represent England.

Competing in the U17 category, and being a year younger than most competitors, he became the England Schools National Champion for Long Jump by winning the gold medal with a personal best of 6.97m.

As a result he has been selected to represent England next weekend in Northern Ireland at the Schools International Athletics Board (SIAB) Track & Field Championships for long jump.
He also competed in the Surrey U17 4x100m relay where his team won a silver medal in a very close race.
Good luck to Zac for his forthcoming competition in Northern Ireland.

🎾 What a journey! Huge congratulations to Ewell Castle Tennis Scholar Ollie Page, on reaching the Quarter Finals of Junior Wimbledon. An outstanding achievement, we are so proud of Ollie!

After a determined performance against Thijs Boogaard, Ollie’s Wimbledon run came to an end, however reaching this stage of such a prestigious tournament is testament to his talent, dedication and hard work.

A special mention to Tom Burn, Head of Perfomance Tennis at Ewell Castle Tennis Academy, and the entire coaching team for their support in Ollie’s development over the last two years. Thank you to everyone who has supported Ollie through his Wimbledon journey, including our Tennis Academy partners SYLA and Specialist Sports.
