We have said a fond farewell to our wonderful Year 5 children as they move on to middle school. We are so proud of everything they have achieved and wish each and every one of them the very best of luck as they begin this exciting new chapter.
We would also like to thank all of the families who have supported us throughout the years. It has been a privilege to share in your children's journey, watching them grow in confidence, kindness and independence.
For many parents and carers, today marked their very last primary school drop-off and pick-up after many years. We know this is a milestone filled with mixed emotions—pride, excitement and perhaps a little sadness too. Thank you for trusting us with your children and for being such an important part of our school community.
We wish all of our Year 5 children and their families every happiness and success for the future. Once part of our school family, always part of our school family. Good luck—we know you'll do amazing things!

What a wonderful Stay and Play session we had at St Richard’s!🥰🌟

It was such a joy to welcome so many families into our Early Years setting. The children were thoroughly engaged as they explored, played, created and discovered through a range of exciting activities, all while making new friends and growing in confidence.

At St Richard’s, our Early Years environment is a happy, nurturing and inspiring place where every child is encouraged to learn through play, curiosity and creativity. We loved sharing a little glimpse of it with our visitors.

Our dinner hall was transformed into an American diner today for school lunch. Children were served dinner in plastic baskets and the burgers, sausages and chips were delicious. A huge thanks to our catering team for their hard work and dedication to giving our children lovely theme days. A shoutout to our site manager David who decorated the hall for us. Well done everyone involved.

Another fun filled day with Year 5! Swinging through trees to making fires and climbing into the clouds. Now we’re off on a trail 🥰

Today we were really lucky to welcome students from The De Montfort School into school for a live music performance. Year 10 and Year 12 bands performed a range of songs for Owls, Robins and Hawks classes, showcasing some fantastic musical talent and confidence. 🎸🥁🎤

The children loved experiencing live music up close and were incredibly excited by the different instruments, vocals and energy of the performances. It was also a brilliant opportunity for our pupils to see where music can lead as they get older and to feel inspired by older students performing so confidently.

A huge thank you to all of the TDMS students and staff for giving up their time to come and perform for us — it was a really special morning that the children will definitely remember!

The children all slept well, they are tidying their rooms, have eaten breakfast and prepared their lunch ready for a fun day of activities.

Year 5 have had a great first day in Malvern. We have tried archery, zip wire, crate stacking and walking the Malvern Hills.
