📣 GET TO KNOW FRIENDS OF HONEYBOURNE SCHOOL! 💚

As we start a new school year, we thought we’d do a little series of posts to let you know who we are, what we do and how you can get involved or support us! 🌟

So, who are we?
Friends of Honeybourne School is a registered charity (Charity No. 517087) which exists to raise funds to enhance the education of children at Honeybourne Primary School. 📚✨

We currently have a small committee made up of a Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary and General Committee Members. However, you don’t have to be a committee member to get involved! 🙌

We welcome anyone who would like to support the school, including:
👨‍👩‍👧 Parents & carers
👩‍🏫 School staff
👵 Grandparents & other family members
🏡 Members of our local community

Throughout the year, we organise a variety of fundraising events, and every penny we raise goes towards supporting the children and enhancing their education and experiences at Honeybourne Primary School. ❤️

We are always looking for more people to get involved, whether you can help regularly, lend a hand at an event, come along with ideas for new fundraising activities, or simply support our events.

Small figures- animals, dinosaurs, people etc

Games, puzzles, board games or cards

Any items appreciated. Please either drop off to school or get in touch so we can arrange collection.

We’d love to invite everyone in our school and local community to our Annual General Meeting! 💙

How fabulous do the leavers bears look?
Last week every Yr 6 leavers was given one of these memory bears.
A huge thank you to The Sunburnt Snowman for making them for us! If you're looking for someone to make a memory bears out of clothing we totally recommend Adrena!

Schools out for summer!!

As a small thank you for all your support over the last school year FOHS will be in the playground at pick up with free ice pops for all school children!

Goodbye and Good Luck to the year 6 leavers! It's time to shine in your new secondary school! We hope you liked you leavers bears!

Don't forget its the World Cup themed Non-Uniform day tomorrow in exchange for tombola items!
(Please don't feel you need to buy anything new, children can come in clothes the voloyr of their favourite country or team).

🌍⚽ World Cup Themed Non-Uniform Day – Friday 3rd July ⚽🌍
Get ready to show your team spirit! On Friday 3rd July, children are invited to come to school wearing their favourite country’s football kit or colours in exchange for a tombola donation.
We would be very grateful for donations of tins, bottles, biscuits, gift sets, toiletries and candles — all donations will be used for the Honeybourne Village Fete on Friday 18th July.
Last year, we were delighted to receive £250 from the fete, so we would love your support again to help make this year’s event a success.
